Average speed and watts, how did you get this to display with Dashware software? I cannot figure this out, I know how to do speed and watts but not the averages. Please help me, I am a cycling fanatic and gopro all of my rides. I use a Garmin Edge 1000 for the data.
Fuji TT hey. I imported the gps file as csv into excel and added columns for avg watts and speed that I let excel calculate. Back then it was difficult cause I had the watts in .srm file plus gps data from smartphone app. Now with Garmin etc. you should get files that contain already the averages. Hope this helps
Hey, man. Are you sure your computer is not connected to your partner's power metre? Coz it shows you're generating 200 watts in the front and 350 watts in the back. :p
Great Video ! I have a little question, where do you get your watt and bpm data from ? I am using my mobile phone to make .gpx files. but with my phone I just can save data like speed , distance, attitude. Thanks!
+In Vision Thanks for your comment. The Power and Heart Rate data is from an SRM Powermeter. There are sensors in the market now, that send those data also via bluetooth rather than just ANT(+), so you could connect them also to your phone as well
All these telemetric data may be taken from Strava activity and overlayed on video. Try free service vochiloop.com. All you need is to have accurate clock settings on your camera before taking videos.
Great video btw! Alexus how did you get the Runtastic log file into Dashware? I'm having trouble trying to figure that out and was hoping you could help. Thanks!
Alex...it does. I wasn't aware of the download feature. Another question for you. Do you have a speed and cadence sensor your your bike? When looking through the gpx file I noticed a lot of zero values in between the captured data and figured a sensor would be much more accurate in capturing the speed, etc. Thank you for responding!
John B Hey John. Welcome. Yes, I have. The SRM Training System tracks all those parameters every 0.5 sec. GPS Speed is often faulty. If it weren't Garmin wouldn't provide Speed/Cad sensors with their devices. cheers!
+Mr Squirrel hey, Dashware is not hard to use. but you definitely have to learn it in some way. but it's free now and it's quick learning by doing so just give it a try! I actually bought the software back then..
+Mr Squirrel Hey there. CANYON ultimate cf slx. GoPro Hero 3 Black. The Mode is 1080p @ 30 fps. You dont Need to connect a camera. You just Olaf The Video into The software and you ready to go.
thats not time trial riding you cant draft each other thats blowing up your speed that you cant carry on your own. follow me on strava (ken wolfe vegan 48-17 fixie)
a lot of Watt for the speed you guys doing, must be very windy. And crazy traffic.
great pace guys! nice to watch. :)
Your mate in front needs to move his saddle up 2cm he's dropping his heels at 6 o clock stroke
You're so right, the first thing I noticed was how he's constantly bouncing off his saddle
Drafting with the aerobars. Good way to go up your mates arse if there's a sudden slowdown.
Great Vid!

Very nice video,
In my opinion too high cadence, slightly bad cornering
Anyway good quality stuff👍🏻
Thanks, you are right with both. All fixed by now. Was still a beginner back then. But no new video yet unfortunately

hi john, I downloaded the training from runtastic.com as *.gpx file. Dashware can read many parameters out of that file type. hope this helps?
