  • Dr. Andrew Elkwood, is the Founder of the Institute for Advanced Reconstruction ‪@advancedreconstruction‬ in New Jersey. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in advanced microsurgical reconstruction. We want to provide a pathway and access to care for breast cancer patients with information in the interview.
Dr. Elkwood discusses microsurgical techniques offered to patients with conditions that arise due to breast cancer treatment. These conditions can be caused by the affects of treatment like chemotherapy, radiation, or post-surgical side affects. They include: neuropathy, post mastectomy pain, lymphedema, and radiation induced brachial plexopathy to name a few.
Dr. Elkwood will be visiting IFAR network surgeons in the summer of 2024. You can speak to him in a virtual consult by calling 954-218-5137 or visiting www.advancedreconstruction.com to set up a consultation and inquire about services offered.
He will be visiting ‪@PRMAPlasticSurgery‬ in San Antonio, TX, The Vanguard Surgery practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and ‪@Breastcenter‬ in New Orleans, LA.
