I just got done doing a kit bash with a bunch of geo. I had to rebuild a bunch of it where I used the array modifier, changing objects to instances. I wish there was a checkbox to use instances. I just need to get in the habit of instancing my arrays either in gn
Making arrays with GN is easier than modifiers, at least for me. About your project, maybe you can use a Switch node to achieve want you want. I'm not sure, it's just a suggestion :)
