This is one of Chris's best vocal performances, to my ear. It's right in the wheelhouse of his range. THe Mandolin work is stellar, but I can't heap superlatives on it, since I feel like he's generated so many amazing solos, that I can't possibly have heard the single best one.
I remember this show! This was one of the first shows I tuned into while I was working. This was the one where Jake Gyllenhaal does a monologue from Sea Wall / A Life. Man, this was awesome to listen to and watch.
