Ain’t B!! The first time I made it, it came out perfect. Last night it fell apart in one area once I flipped over. I could still see peach juice at the top of the slice. Should I bake it longer that an hour and 20 mins?
Love to make pound cakes but she cooks like my grandmother did, just a little of this and that. I need the exact amounts and also whether to use Cake Flour or Regular Flour; I use Cake Flour for my pound cakes. Thanks for your reply.

Hi, I baked a similar cake. Two came out perfect and well the others did not. For some reason the bottom where the peaches were lined didn’t cook good you know how when a cake doesn’t soak. Not sure what happened. I used 1 cup butter, 11/2 cup brown sugar, 11/2 cup granulated sugar, 6 eggs, 3 cups flour, extract, 11/2 cup fresh peaches in the batter and I lined the bottom of the pan with peaches. Baked 350 for an 1 hr 30 mins. One I baked 1 hr 45. Not sure how two were perfect and well others were not. Do you have any idea?
no... i also have some of those days, you said all the right stuff to put in the cake also make sure less peach juice is going in the batter... i am so sorry i don't understand what happened

Thanks for the reciepe; I sure will be trying it. I have a multitude of pound cake recipes.
When I seen the name Aint B I knew that cake was going to be awesome!!! Keep up the good work!

Can I use cake flour so I don’t have to do the sifting or is it a necessary step
Yes that’s totally fine
Can you use cake flour instead of reg flour
Yes but you should use a 1 cup less of flower, if it has baking powder in it so it won’t rise, and overflow out of the baking pan!
