Peach Cobbler Pound Cake *THE ONLY RECIPE YOU NEED*

  • Hey guys! Welcome back to The Station Bakery! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to create a super delicious, super moist Peach Cobbler Pound Cake. This cake was soooo good and I know when you make this cake, you will agree!
    Here's what I used:
    Bundt Pan: amzn.to/2XbZZg4

    KitchenAide Artisan Mixer: amzn.to/3e7crEA
    Sifter: amzn.to/2ZqGRgT

    Recipe Used with modifications - Southern Deliciousness
    Cake:
    1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
    1/2 cup butter shortening
    3 cups granulated sugar
    5 large eggs
    1 teaspoon rum extract
    2 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
    3/4 teaspoon lemon extract
    1 teaspoon almond extract
    3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 cup cream
    Cobbler Topping adapted from Stove Top Kisses:
    Canned Peaches (enough to fill the bottom)
    1 stick melted butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup Crown Royal (you can sub for more peach juice)
    1/4 cup Peach Juice
    Cinnamon Sugar to taste
    Preheat Oven to 325 degrees.
    Butter and Flour your pan.
    Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
    Cream butter and shortening.
    Slowly add in sugar and cream until light and fluffy.
    Add in eggs, 1 at a time.
    Add 1/3 of sifted dry ingredients, 1/2 Liquid, 1/3 dry, 1/2 liquid, 1/3 dry.
    Mix until just combined.
    Mix in Flavorings.
    Bake for 45-50 minutes until cake is browned and springy.
    Let cool, remove from pan, let cool some more.
    Create Cinnamon Graham Cracker Crumble • Strawberry Crunch, Ore... and sprinkle over the top.

    Wow!! What did you butter/ flour your pan with? Bundt pans tend to reallly stick. What can size peaches?

      I used Pam baking spray! I used part of a 21 oz. can of peaches. I used like half of it since I used a 6 cup pan.

      Hmmm I’m sure you can but I haven’t tried... I would say dry them as much as you can so the liquid doesn’t throw the batter off or you can try removing some of the milk and replace with the peach juice. If you try, let me know how it turns out!

    It's good to clean paddle off too. Butter, shortening etc can hangout there an not get mixed in.

      @@TheStationBakery yes I always thought so we would make giant goody baskets for friends and family and even the school the salon we all went to. I made 11 pies most of which I gave to friends. I made banana bread zucchini bread all kinds of stuff I ended up using a 25 lb bag of flour a 25 lb bag of granulated sugar 14 lb of brown sugar and just a whole lot of stuff

    How do you get the eggs and butter room temperature with leave it out for few hours

      Microwave the butter a few seconds at a time and place the eggs in warm/hot water for a few minutes.

      Yes you can. I never use regular flour when making cakes. only cake Flour

    So I tried this recipe. It tastes Amazing!! However, my peaches slid off the cake. Maybe I flipped it too soon? The smaller one I made with the leftover batter , I allowed to cool for about 20 mins amd the peaches stuck to the pan. Ugh!!! It sooo yummy though

      Hmmm... maybe it was too quick. I let mine sit for a few minutes (was still hot when I did it though) out it might be the placement of them.

    I baked mine for 50 minutes and it's extremely wet! I did everything the recipe called for! 😭😭😭

      I had the same issue but it’s because I used the full-size pan and let it cook for 10 more minutes.
