Bachido: The Hajiki Technique (Shamisen)

If you are learning Shamisen, you may have heard the term "Hajiki." What is this mysterious technique?

but... what about if I play a nagauta shamisen? I have no place to put my finger to avoid the incorrect 'hammer on'... Nagauta neck it´s thinner than tsugaru neck...What´s the solution in that case?

rodrigo melendez Hajiki is done with nagauta shamisen as well. I think the trick is to keep the fingers pointed so that the fingers focused on the individual string.
