The falling tower has more safeties (I think 14 if I remember correctly) then the plane does. For some reason the tower did not go. Looked as if the actor was stuck on it because she was still up there and was saying "no" in the mic I am guessing signaling to not have the platform fall because she was supposed to of already jumped. Same tower that was used in the stunt show before water world, The Miami Vice Action Spectacular.
In watching it again I think the jet ski fail made everything happen to soon. They went and opened the gate before the "plane" takes out the tower so everything was off timing wise.
@@PoorJuicyPlant You are right,at 2:42 you can see tht the skier has crossed his arms calling for help on the right. Soon after when the gunner of the boat shoots at the fence and the thing tht releases the explosives to make it look like a bullet hitting the fence exploded at his face.

3:14 You can see the two performers crossing their arms which signals the show stop. I’m assuming it’s something to do with diver.

The Skier was hurt he did X and was not seen. Then you hear help help i need help

@@Sebastian__.I think you are right on this one, now that i looked for the hand signal (X over the head) i saw it from the right fence.
looks like technical issues with the audio and possible the ski jumper being in the wrong area
