I think the team needs time to learn from mistakes. Every failure is an opportunity to improve. If they get rid of Ten hag then the mistakes will only be repeated by the next man. Plus they played half of the game without a player they were never given the opportunity to comeback. I’ve also noticed a lack of physicality by united. The spurs players seem to be bigger and stronger.

Yes, the coaching is bad, but the players are even worse. They have no idea how to pass the ball. not one player knows how to maintain possession. They turn it over constantly with bad passing and dribbling into the defender. It’s horrendous.
Tottenham were very good. Postecoglou is brilliant. Man Utd were very poor. Ten Hag has no idea what he is doing. Not sure what Van Nistelrooy is expected to say tbh.

Far be it for me to suggest, but maybe Manchester United have found their true level and rightful position in the league - just below halfway - just an ordinary team losing half of their games and struggling to keep up with the major teams. All these years of playing at the mid-league level makes me think, THAT is their true level and forget the great teams of old. Also, replacing Ten Hag with Southgate is going to give you years of unexciting, uninspired football with one manager being replaced with a similar clueless manager who has absolutely no idea of how to pick a team, how to analyse a game and use corresponding tactics to defeat them, no idea about when and where to substitute players, or how to read the game and, above all, a manager without inspiration or temper enough to tell the players they aren't playing well enough and to get out there and give it 100% or they will sit games out until they change their attitude. The best teams have a sideline bench of players dying to play and Man U. look like they'd prefer to "sit this one out". They have truly forgotten the roots of the great teams of the past where playing for them was reaching the apex of your career and there was none better. A good manager would remind them of that on a daily basis.

The mouth in the middle, we had all sorts of injuries last season and players had to go to play in Mickey Mouse internationals. We have completely changed the squad he always has a dig at spurs.

Spurs were very good, but united are well off the pace under Ten Hag. You could see it in the stands how devastated their fans were, realising that they are in fact going backwards. Some of their fans sat alone in sections of the ground afterwards, unable to cope with what happened lol. There is absolutely a massive crisis at united. It wasn't just spurs were good.
