I love impressionist watercolor paintings. It makes your brain fill the gaps and it creates this unexplainable side effect feeling of nostalgia, like you've just went back to your grandmas old town for the first time in forever.
Bravo! Bad to the bone and anything else I can think of. It’s amazing how little information is needed to portray people. Love the looseness of it. Great
You are so kind to give out so much information about your knowledge, there are a lot of great painters and u r one of them but you are above the rest as you share everything with out a price bless you
I am totally new (but rather obsessed!) watercolorist and having so much fun. My husband is writing a book on pilgrimage and asked if I thought I could illustrate it (😬) to which I said, "Clearly, not yet!!" I just discovered your site and will be studying, practicing, correcting and agonizing over every technique of yours and how ill make it a goal to be decent enough to do this (or send him your way!🙂). Thank you for sharing your great talent!!
Your voice is perfect with your way of painting is perfection. The very best of all I have seen and heard.with other videos. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. More videos of others as in ‘food channels’ don’t even come close to your explanation and speaking expertise, they should learn from you. My very best to you, thank you once again.
A beautiful explained tutorials Sir. It always amazing to watch you painting. Thank you so much for sharing your vast knowledge. Indeed grateful to you . Thank you .
Your painting is so beautiful. I wish mine looked a bit more like yours but I still loved painting this one and learning from you. Thanks for the tutorial!
Very helpful. I've been wanting to tackle a white building. Maybe this vid will light the necessary fire under me. Got some new mops and paints. The light red is surprising stuff. Looks close to burnt sienna but makes some beautiful purples mixed with ultramarine or cobalt blue. The only cobalt green our only art supply store has was the deep version. I bought it anyway. Still makes some nice greens even tho the paint itself is an odd blue. I'm assuming it also comes in a light and medium version?
@@TimWilmot I think so. I'm amazed by those two colors. They are new to me and I see that I've been missing out by not investigating them sooner. I never would have if I had not seen you use the green and explain why. The red was the only other color I did not have so I tried it too. Its pretty amazing for such a quiet red. Thank you for the run down on the colors.
i tim great work, there im trying water colours finding hard to mix colours and , useing water im interested in doing buildings your vedios are really great help thanks laurie here from nz
Hi Tim, would you mind sharing the type of brush you used for 1st wash? It has a very nice thick round head and it’s perfect for 1st wash! I have been looking for something like that for a long time! 13:15
Tim I get that the point of the painting is how to paint white buildings.and this you've achieved very well indeed. However I am thinking the shadow areas a little over dark.and wouldn't hurt for a little more detail, as a looks a little unbalanced. Enjoyed the video as always though. Peter Dee.
Quite brilliant the way Tim brings his paintings to life. He has exceptional talent.
Thanks for watching and your kind comments Sandra

Great work, nice video! Is the white paint you use Titanium white watercolor?
I use white gouache
What kind of brush you are using ? Thank you!
Raphael soft aqua and Jackson Mop
Is the mop sable or squirrel?

I disagree with your value choice. Darks are way too dark.
