I can see why the PD kept Jinkyung and Sook for season 2, theyre so good at facilitating and keeping the conversations going and they have a really good grasp on the atmosphere of the unnies
Jinkyung and Sook are hilarious. Jinkyung might even be the funniest member even though like Sook says she's not intentionally funny. It amazes me to have heard Jinkyung would get a lot of hate in Korea especially since my guess is the show would be half as entertaining without her. Jinkyung, Sook, and Jinyoung are usually the ones that create hilarious moments in the show while the rest are more reactive. And there's nothing wrong with being reactive; having all 7 people as constant instigators would make the show super messy.
Minzy's breakdown explains so much. it makes me so sad. She just wanted to be a carefree girl..but she took on this big role and lost herself in the idol world. Wow. Us fans always remarked how mature and reserved Minzy was..but all this time she must've wanted to let loose like everyone else, but her trauma held her back. I have even more respect for her. I'm torn about her not going to the girls of 2NE1..maybe that was her fear of judgement, and nothing truly against them.
I don´t think it´s about her former Bandmembers... It´s a problem that everyone knows about and most idols have. I think the others had felt the same bot they had all struggeled. Perhaps she hadn´t told it, because she don´t wanted to burden the other. Sorry for bad english...

Seeing Minzy talk about not being well-off and ignoring what she wanted as a child makes seeing her get so excited over the doll in episode 5 hit so much harder.
And when she was getting paid as a 2NE1 member she bought Gundam model kits and then later on she got into RC cars. I'm the same thing i grew up not being well off and up to this day i still get excited when i go inside a toy store or a hobby store and being able to buy a toy with my own money.
Jinyoung is so strong and hearing about the things she went through makes me respect her so much more. I have always wonder what really goes on behind the scenes before idols become big... Tbh I really like these two new songs better than the first two because it fits them more and it's really refreshing. I liked the two songs from the first choice but it wasn't as fun or it didn't really fit them imo.

Im so glad that the song changed. I was really dreading the first one. But poor Minzy. Makes me question her relationship with the 2ne1 members. :( But Jinyoung has such a great voice, cant wait to hear more of it. I liked that this episode didnt have a lot going on. it was really a down to earth moment. it's rare to have a show where you end up liking every member.
They actually don't know that was happening to Minzy until it became bigger and the disbandment happened I think all of the members think about this and regret a lot.
As much as I love Minzy... she could have also spoken up. I get that she wanted her own thing and that YG honestly is not the best for that since their marketing is to have few releases as possible but if you yourself can't be vulnerable to others especially your teammates, it will inevitably blow up in your face. Well, I'm sure it's a lesson learned for all. What happens happens.
If you haven't read her recent Billboard interview it really clears things up. She likes her 2NE1 sisters - they even had a reunion at Coachella and there's some videos of them all hanging out and having a great time. She left 2NE1 for her own mental health. She was feeling lost about her career and having a lot of depression issues and even suicidal thoughts due to not having a good support system (remember she moved as a teen and was thrown in the life without family or friends near by and didn't feel like she could lay the pressure on her family since her family was struggling too). And it DEFINITELY didn't help YG called them all ugly multiple times.

this is probably my fav episode of this season. they all have a heartfelt conversation which helps them get to understand each other more and get closer, the new song is so good and its great to see them enjoy themselves. love rewatching this show :)
I really loved listening to all their stories, really brings a richness to the show. Listening to their stories really helps us understand why they are they way they are: Jinyoung and her affection, Chaeyoung and her passion for learning/memorizing all the steps, Minzy and her patience for all the members. Also watching this I feel like Somi is so lucky, everybody is so caring and nurturing and I'm glad that this is a part of her rookie experience. Also I'm glad they changed the songs. Because they should totally highlight how caring and loving Unnies is with each other. I'm like tearing up thinking about what the final product will be like, I love that it's a bright concept. This season is soo good.
Im so proud of Chaeyoung for being able to hold it in with a smile for as long as she did. It shows me how strong of a woman she really is and what she has gone through.

Just like Jinkyeong unnie said, Idol girl groups seem so fancy but deep inside they really struggle and face a lot of hardships. I started watching clips of this coz of Somi and Minzhy and then found the whole episodes of this season. Starting from episode , I started to realize that I should watch this to learn from them. To learn what really my idols, celebrities do, feel entire their training till they debut. GirlGroups like, RedVelvet, Twice, Blackpink, Aespa also boygroups too and so on... they've been through a lot of hardships. That's why I'm so disappointed every time they are being judged, hated, bashed, and throwing negative things to them. We don't know the feeling until we walk on their shoes. Just wanna share.
Finally someone who understands the situation.. Even BTS faced a lot of hardships that Bang PD-nim decided to step in because B-free was talking trash to Rap Mon and Suga was about to explode but he won't apologize even to him.
This is my first time watching this show, and so far it's blowing my mind. I feel like I'm really getting insight on what it's like to join the industry, and even though I know it's not easy, there's so much more of an emotional impact when everyone is sharing their journey story. These women have really worked their butts off to get to where they are now. 👏

Tbh I really like these two new songs better than the first two because it fits them more and it's really refreshing. I liked the two songs from the first choice but it wasn't as fun or it didn't really fit them imo.

Im so glad that the song changed. I was really dreading the first one. But poor Minzy. Makes me question her relationship with the 2ne1 members. :( But Jinyoung has such a great voice, cant wait to hear more of it. I liked that this episode didnt have a lot going on. it was really a down to earth moment. it's rare to have a show where you end up liking every member.
They actually don't know that was happening to Minzy until it became bigger and the disbandment happened I think all of the members think about this and regret a lot.
As much as I love Minzy... she could have also spoken up. I get that she wanted her own thing and that YG honestly is not the best for that since their marketing is to have few releases as possible but if you yourself can't be vulnerable to others especially your teammates, it will inevitably blow up in your face.
Well, I'm sure it's a lesson learned for all. What happens happens.
If you haven't read her recent Billboard interview it really clears things up. She likes her 2NE1 sisters - they even had a reunion at Coachella and there's some videos of them all hanging out and having a great time.
She left 2NE1 for her own mental health. She was feeling lost about her career and having a lot of depression issues and even suicidal thoughts due to not having a good support system (remember she moved as a teen and was thrown in the life without family or friends near by and didn't feel like she could lay the pressure on her family since her family was struggling too). And it DEFINITELY didn't help YG called them all ugly multiple times.

this is probably my fav episode of this season. they all have a heartfelt conversation which helps them get to understand each other more and get closer, the new song is so good and its great to see them enjoy themselves. love rewatching this show :)
I really loved listening to all their stories, really brings a richness to the show. Listening to their stories really helps us understand why they are they way they are: Jinyoung and her affection, Chaeyoung and her passion for learning/memorizing all the steps, Minzy and her patience for all the members. Also watching this I feel like Somi is so lucky, everybody is so caring and nurturing and I'm glad that this is a part of her rookie experience. Also I'm glad they changed the songs. Because they should totally highlight how caring and loving Unnies is with each other. I'm like tearing up thinking about what the final product will be like, I love that it's a bright concept. This season is soo good.

Just like Jinkyeong unnie said, Idol girl groups seem so fancy but deep inside they really struggle and face a lot of hardships.
I started watching clips of this coz of Somi and Minzhy and then found the whole episodes of this season. Starting from episode , I started to realize that I should watch this to learn from them. To learn what really my idols, celebrities do, feel entire their training till they debut.
GirlGroups like, RedVelvet, Twice, Blackpink, Aespa also boygroups too and so on... they've been through a lot of hardships. That's why I'm so disappointed every time they are being judged, hated, bashed, and throwing negative things to them. We don't know the feeling until we walk on their shoes.

I feel like I'm really getting insight on what it's like to join the industry, and even though I know it's not easy, there's so much more of an emotional impact when everyone is sharing their journey story. These women have really worked their butts off to get to where they are now. 👏
