What. brand or link for that first grip? I have small fingers so I don't think it will be much of a problem. That's kinda what I have been looking for. Don't need a cage, just a better grip for when I use my Tamron 28-200 lens.
after I bought a7c i compare with a7III, the grip feeling is quite big.. and i bought the small rig, it feels better, but the weight is not so big different with a7III, I ask myself why I do not buy a7III before... a7c is quite look but not the best choice for me....
The A7C with the SmallRig really just gives you the option to have it bigger to use with bigger lenses or take it off and keep it small with maybe a prime for something more pocketable. It’s just more versatile.
I just hate how the SmallRig cages for the smaller A7C and now E1 bodies don’t follow the grip really. They feel more modified to work. Still very well made and I like SmallRig overall. But the Wepoto feels made perfectly matching the body way more. Can’t say it’s “worth” the higher price but it is better suited to the body.
As I was watching this, I was thinking, "That's why God created the Dremel tool" LOL I've used it to create an opening for my PeakDesigns attachment thingy. I also used it on a grip I had with the wooden grip extension. It had the same problem with reducing the space between the grip and lens. I created a custom "groove" for my middle finger and it worked perfectly.
Right on time. I’m always on the lookout for the best grip (not necessarily cage) for the a7c.
Thank you!! You nailed it. These cages aren’t for all the time but for when we have an event or are using a larger lens.
Great having a variety to compare. Very helpful. I'm going for the Smallgrip.
Great video really helped me make my choice. Thanks!!!!
Thanks! Ordered the SmallRig cage today!😎
Nice
Great choice filming this video beside a loud wind chime on a windy day... Terrific
Great video… could you do one for the new model Sony a7cII
Have a friend machine out a strap hole. I like that because it adds only what I need; a pinky grip and an arca base.
I wish I had a friend who could do some minor machining.
Can you link the wepoto grip?

The wepoto looks waaay too pricey for me for what you get. I would go for the smallrig L bracket instead. You can also remove the L

No links lmao
..the L rigs don`t work with the 7c because of the articulating display.....i use the L-rig just on the a7r3....greets BM
The L Rigs made for the Sonys with flip screens have a cut out. They work just fine. You just can’t get a universal one but those made for it.
Hello Sir
Is that SILICON GRIP sell separetly for SMALLRIG 3081?
Unfortunately no. They make you buy another one. They should though

I so have to get a Dremel. Touché
Simply just mount the PD leash on the cameras own lug!
Then you can just set it down without it falling over. For me, that’s just annoying but would be a solution.
Who does a video on the best gear and doesn't tell anybody where to get them? This is a first. Wow.
Lady, just google the name lmao
