Definitely great for travel. I use it with the sony 35 1.8 for when out with the family, great setup!
Since you had to add the cage for grip, do you just straight up recommend the a7iii over this one? Or is there still a reason to grab the a7c instead?
A7iii is great for handling and dual card slot. A7c has better af performance and tracking. Personally for just photos I’d get an a7c. For video a7iii.
@@ChrisFlores22 Photos is what ill mainly be doing and a7c is what I'm leaning toward. I have a6000 right now and looking to move into full frame. Other option I'm considering is getting the sigma 24-70 for now, using it with the a6000, and wait on upgrade the camera for the a7c ii, but who knows when that will come out lol
@@OzxGG sigma 24-70 is sick. I had it on Sony and now I have it on Panasonic and it’s still my favorite lens even on two different systems. Maybe an a74 might be better for you today vs waiting 🤷🏻♂️
@@ChrisFlores22 my wallet hates you for putting that thought back in my head haha. it was a consideration as well, but for the price of that body only I can get the a7c + sigma lens
@@OzxGG if you’re sure video isn’t a thing for you then yes that’s a great combo! But if video is a possibility then I’d wait and save so you can have a real hybrid camera instead buying the a7c then wanting better video codecs, waiting to sell it at a loss and then get the a74. Ends up being more expensive

AF will be a huge improvement for sure. Not to sure about video specs. Probably pictures will be better also because of the FF Sensor.

Not anymore lol now it feels like a proper camera. The cage adds some weight to it as well. Very happy with the purchase

It doesn’t, at all.
I have it. It does not. Same for the battery, you can remove it. It just add extra weight, which is good for video stabilization but for photo with a flash on top, then it is much more heavy.
The cage v1 is compatible with the sony 60rm2 that i have, however you need the v2 to be compatible with the latest mic (they added extra space for the hot shoe).
Dark studio, black t-shirt, black rig... I can hardly see anything.
music is too loud, fast-paced and annoying, and your audio level of you talking is too low

gotta agree with you, it’s not that the music is louder than you but it’s just pretty loud and isn’t very much in the background lol
