Niamh, I know you are aware of this now but for the ppl in the comments - I emailed the company about the cardstock problem and they told me they are reprinting the deck on a better card stock in 3 months time 🥳🥳🥳yay!
I laminated mine on both sides with clear contact paper. Great travel deck now. Also I heard on another channel that they got a message from the publisher that they will be republishing soon on better cardstock. Try the contact paper.
Yeah, I found out the day that this went up that they are reprinting! I'm glad for that! Kind of wish I knew sooner because I would have waited to get my deck lol.
Do you have the Brian Froud Faeries or Tantric Dakini oracle? Those two are SO THIN I am almost afraid to use them. The art on this is gorgeous, such a shame the cardstock doesn't do it justice!
I have the Brian Froud Fairies, and it is thin, however, it's also laminated (or has some kind of coating over it), so there's a bit of sturdiness to it that this deck unfortunately does not have. It's not just the thinness of this deck, it's also the texture... it really does feel like slightly thicker printer paper... and is so floppy! I did find out, however, that the company that makes this deck is reprinting it on better cardstock in a few months! Apparently a LOT of people complained...

Do you mind sharing the brand and type (matte, etc.) of contact paper you used? I've never done this but want to try it with this deck.

@@aquamarine18 con-tact brand clear glossy. If you'd like more instructions I could post a how to video. It's not hard but can be a little fiddly.

@@-NiamhWitch- Oh no, that really is bad then 😅 I'm glad they've listened and are fixing it though
Hello. Tell me, please, did the deck come to you from the seller in factory film or without film?
From the seller. This was a verified purchase.
@@-NiamhWitch- Was the deck wrapped in film?
@@annazagorskaya I don't remember. I got this months ago. Ordered from Amazon.
Mine was not wrapped in film. The box or the cards.
@@missjocy92 thank you very much
This deck is beautiful. That’s too bad about the cardstock.
Card stock is a big issue to me
This deck for me is not RWS. I’m thinking of cutting off the card names and using it to read intuitively rather than with traditional meanings.
