Great video. The snakes were a Red Coachwhip and a Sonoran Gophersnake. I believe the coachwhip was trying to eat the gophersnake. Very cool encounter.
@@TheBirdingVoyage I recently moved to Roseburg, Oregon. Previously for the past 4.5 years I lived in Berrien County Michigan which is on the Indiana border in far SW Michigan. Great birding there. Before that I lived in Walla Walla, WA for 24 years. I grew up in Oregon, primarily in the Eugene area, then went to college at UC Davis in California. Birding is my main hobby these days. I added 2 lifers yesterday- Violet-green Swallow and Bushtit. In college I dated a girl from San Diego and remember going down there to visit her folks. We also went to Joshua Tree and Anza Borrego Park.
Arizona has so many amazing birds. I'm in Florida but hoping to bird in Arizona one day, nice 👍🙂
It is an amazing place!

Thanks for the info! It was amazing to watch!
Bewick's wren at 5:17 :)
Thanks!
I think the bird you were hearing was a spotted towhee, but I'm not 100 percent sure.
Thanks for watching and for the suggestion!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I really enjoy the 2 videos I have watched so far. Thanks for sharing them. Where do you live?
Glad you enjoyed them! I live in the San Diego area. What about you?

Very cool. Oregon is beautiful. We lived in Yamhill, OR for 4 years or so when I was little. Congrats on your recent lifers!
I was there last month! Did you look for the Green Kingfishers that live down that trail?
Very cool! No I didn't know that there was a Green Kingfisher there. That would have been amazing to see!
Pronounced: "gross-beak"
Thank you!
