Hi. what is the most reliable way to run the LR512 in order to use Link with a Mac connected to internet? I have Serato running with streaming services so I need to be connected to the internet. But I also want to use the Link feature. Is Dual mode the best solution?
Hi guys! 2 questions 1. Is there a way to physically connect the lightrider to a router with ethernet cable via a usb converter and what not? 2. I have wifi trust issues so i was thinking of setting up light to a powered usb hub that connects my android tablet/ ipad to the light rider as a wired usb backup. Would this also work?
Both great questions. 1) No, I don't believe you can physically connect an LR512 to a router via Ethernet. 2) I'm afraid I don't know. I have connected my LR512 directly to an Android tablet but never via a USB hub. I'm thinking it *should* work but I don't know for sure.
Yes, it can be used with MyDMX 3.0. You will need to go through the SUT software to purchase the yearly or life license from Daslight. Daslight is the excat same software as My DMX 3.0 without the ADJ branding.

@@LightRiderTips my router supports both but I was hoping that 5g would show up so I can connect my LR512 to it but as you said it only pickups up 2.4G
Is there any reason why my computer does not recognize my device? I opened Hardware Manager and on the left side, there’s only the “There is no device connected, please connect a device”
Don't use channel 7! It overlaps with other channels and you will have interference, use 1, 6 or 11 :) It's better to be on a same busy channel than one that overlaps.
I sorted it out. When you select your wifi and add your password, go back into the wifi connections and push the "disconnect" button next to the "forget" button. This will save the settings.
@@_0O0O0O0_ This video was made before updates to the Firmware made this much more reliable. A later video I made shows this again and I no longer have any issues running in Dual mode.

My LR512 only pickups my 2.4G band and not 5G
Correct, the LR512 only has 2.4Ghz capability. Most 5Ghz routers support both frequencies though.

Download the windows drivers :)

Your troubles with the software are exactly my troubles. It never works like you want it to. Ugh lol
