In the LN, before Kuze goes back to school to see what happened with Alya, Ayano offers to be punished as seen here, but kuze simply asks her to say if Yuki put her up to this. He offers to let himself be taken care of by Ayano in exchange for telling the truth, which fails. So he offers to insult Ayano, which she reacts to yet hesitantly refuses, while asking "when you planned on insulting me did it involve stomping on my head?”, after a bit of back in forth of Ayano not answering if she wants to be steped on. Kuze makes her simply clean his house since she still wanted some form of punishment.
TLDR: the cut out a funny masochistic Ayano scene.

That Opai battle was definitely on purpose. Knowing Yuki, who is a pervert who loves Opai and wants to know Alya's chest size, Yuki definitely enjoyed it.

Alya thought she could pull a Leeroy Jankins and got destroyed by demon queen Yuki 😂

Never being enough is such a hard thing for everyone, but for a kid is a lot, especially when there is the pressure from this messed up family...

I think the real goal of Yuki doing what she did to Alya is to wake up the hidden tiger in her brother and get him excited to battle against her, as she knows Alya will lean in him.

Yuki doing it for her family is not a noble cause. The only noble cause to run for student council president is to serve the students. I agree, Yuki is probably intentionally playing the final boss to help her brother.
Yuki loves him more than anything. "more than mother, more than father" and definitely more than grandpa. I am also sure Yuki did the off-hours broadcast just so that her grandfather would find out from his sources that she is going after Alya hard.

Ayano was complicit. The mom is probably trying to protect him from grandpa's abuse.

Ok maybe im hating but alya is this generic 1) transfer student, 2) most beautiful girl with title like “ice queen” “angel” etc etc, 3) good grades and good in sport, 4) a somewhat sad backstory, 5) tsundere who is gonna win. I dont mind the generic trope but i find it strange people dislike this trope sometimes (nisekoi f.e) but praise alya for it. Yuki imo is honestly carring this show for me…

I think Yuki wants to push Alya and Kuze together. One to make Alya more worthy of her genius brother. Two, set up the trope where the hero comes in to save the damsel

Welp, this is probably the first time I disagree with so many things in what you concluded.
And it is not even about Yuki.
Mother is equally up to blame? A woman, in a Japanese high strata family? With a millennia deep patriarchy traditions?
You know, at the end of this road of blaming the victim, is a saying that person that took a bullet from murderer is equally up to blame.
It is just an unfortunate chain of influences, and that sad woman (as far as I can see) is not a root cause of it.

giving someone night time mucinex instead of the daytime non drowsy isnt really a bad drugging. you need a lot of sleep to heal when you're sick. But Yuki having the other motive was devious and not good.

Kinda the idea that a lot of people make that mistake all the time on accident. He was also blindly taking it. What made it a problem here was her ulterior motives.

Personally, I think Yuki's actions against Alya has little or nothing to do with Alya herself. It has everything to do with her brother. Yuki admits that he is smarter and more talented than her and the most important person to her. She wants to create a situation in which she can lead/force her brother to use his talents and reawakened his motivation. Alya is a means to that end. Crushing Alya too early would be counter productive to this goal at this time.

Poor Alya keeps being bullied left and right. She dance's around in Yuki's hand, but she has a lot of endurance, at least I can give her that.
Yuki is an otaku headed sister, that love playing her new role of being the vilian. In a away, she is really perfect for the leading role, as being able to manipulate others is a quality.
But is clear that Yuki is sabotaging the whole thing, she doesn't want to win for family sake.

The scene when they meet his Mom in the hallway was not a big deal. In the book not much is said because he does not talk to her. Yuki talked to her grandpa and that was pretty much it.

This is not strange for "elite" schools, the only unrealistic thing is the absent of teachers that would add a whole layer of complexity to this.

Yuki is like Megatron you know she's going to lose in the end she must lose in the end but how does she manage to throw away winning to become that loser is what makes this show kind of compelling
