Maybe a stupid question, but is the road accesible for cars as well? Doesn't look like, because it looks so narrow. I would like to climb it, but would like to be picked up at the top
Yes, you can go up there by car too. All the way to the radio tower :-) You should really consider doing the ride. It is amazing, but have in mind the timing need to be right. There is a lot of rain in that area.
This climb is in the Vuelta a España of 2021. The brother of Angliru. They share the same top. You can go walking only 2 kilometers from one to another.
I really love your beautifull videos, but I miss a good beat to ride on my spinbike with the video. I dont want to use another device with music to do this. Can you please adapt some good music with it?
Hi Bambie, Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we do not add music to our rides. We simply do not want to spoil your ride with music you do not like. But it is quite simple to add it yourself. Open an extra browser tab. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, TH-cam, etc…) and pick the music you like and enjoy the ride...
@@BiketheWorld Thank you for your reply, but this won’t work. When I choose an other app or page on my smart monitor, the video of Bike the World stops! When their is music to dislike on that video, you can simply mute, but it is a lot complicater to at music with someone elses video! I would be very gratefull if you decide to put some music on…🎵🎶🥰
@@bambie5139 Ahh, I see you are not using an ordinary browser. There are also other issues, such as finding good music without copyright. That is extremely difficult.

Je suis désolé, mais ça n'a rien à voir avec le mont ventoux, qui est unique en son genre, ni avec la route sur le mont ventoux qui est confortable et sécurisée; ici la route est effroyable dans tous les sens du mot.
Merci pour votre commentaire. Vous avez raison, il n'existe qu'un seul mont ventoux. Mais cette balade présente certaines similitudes. Y compris la tour radio au sommet, la longue approche et plusieurs itinéraires vers le sommet, etc.

The video will look even better if we could hear the sounds of this environment. For example sound of cycle tyres on road, birds chirping etc. 💕💕
