I am unreasonably excited about this new tool 😆 A few months back, I was trying to make a spiral by hand, and it turned out rough. These options are great! Can't wait to play around with it!
At first I was like, oh. it's just a spiral tool. Wonder when the next update will roll out. But as you got into it my eyes opened wide. So inspired to create with this!
I never really played around with the spiral tool in Inkscape (and I wonder if Inkscape has the same or similar settings hidden in its menu or path effects). Mainly because I have yet to find a tutorial that would explain features and what it could be used for. Thank you for showing us good examples of how this tool could come into handy. Might have to play around with it in both AD and Inkscape 😊
Thank you for this great tutorial which is very clear and shows exactly what is needed to use the spiral too. I have one question; how did you create the black LP? I assume the groves are also done with the spiral tool?
