    • @drewhunkins7192
      @drewhunkins7192 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Montclair2511 You're right that originally Chicago put together much of the casino skimming operations originally in Vegas, no doubt. However, if you read Dan Moldea's book "Interference" he documents how when it came specifically to the Stardust and Glick that it was the Milwaukee crew (Frank Balistrieri's crew and Frank's sons) that did the lion's share of the work in getting the Teamsters pension money and Glick together. Chicago did have their fingers in it too though, true.

      Auippa and Spliotro along with Cerone and Lombardo put the skim together Chicago was the hub of it all not Milwaukee - Milwaukee had a casino or 2 but that`s it. Chicago got a piece of everything

  • @brewcity2317
    @brewcity2317 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

    As for the Milwaukee mafia boss, the Teamster President of Milwaukee was controlled by him. The pension backed loan was approved by the Teamster leaders of 3 cities: Kansas City, Milwaukee, and Cleveland. Nota bene: the KC Teamster leader turned cooperating witness. And IF the Cleveland Teamster leader was a snitch, then the police detective, historian, or just interested civilian question might be, "what of the Milwaukee Teamster leader, and if he did NOT cooperate and was not a snitch, then why?" A possibility in the Milwaukee case MIGHT BE, as St Thomas Aquinas centuries ago pointed out about behaviors or chosen actions: "The cause can be seen in the effect." I make that statement suggesting silence either voluntary by cause of loyalty OR by cause of fear of the Milwaukee mafia.
    A contradiction is NOT a tautology and a contradiction always proves a claim false. That is two-valued logic 101. And lastly... it might be worth noting the Milwaukee boss was SUPPOSEDLY skimming money from a casino in California owned by a Senator from California. I can't remember if it was a State Senator or a US Senator. The Milwaukee boss Frank B. was never brought up on charges for it though.

    Give I like to Google names up, damn, that Roy Williams has quite a background. If anyone is not familiar with the Ozarks I suggest they look at the trailer of "Winter's Bones" on TH-cam. The movie or story was written by a man raised in the Ozarks and supposedly it is culturally accurate. Now, in addition, consider Roy's heroics in WW2. I all the more appreciate his humanity in stating he was im fear of defying the Kansas City mafia bosses. They need to make a movie about this man. I find him more intriguing than ALL of the Midwest mafia bosses--from different cities-mentioned in those news clips.

      Kansas City Teamster leader Roy Williams, according to Wikipedia:
      "Born in Ottumwa, Iowa, Williams was one of 12 children in a very poor family. He grew up in the Ozark Mountains in southwestern Missouri. He got work as a truck driver in 1935.
      "Williams served in the United States Army in World War II and personally took 41 German soldiers prisoner, earning him the Silver Star."
