Thank you so much Henry. I was really quite stressed about this paper as my paper 1 was a bit shaky but after taking my exam today I feel a lot more confident in the work I've done. Your tips and advice were extremely helpful and really pushed me to write a bit extra and your CATT technique was exactly what I needed to help structure and write out my answers

@@lospistachios1254 just keep doing past papers as question styles tend to repeat in papers. revise topics which are worth many marks and keep coming up like histograms and circle theorems. also avoid silly mistakes by double-checking all work and making sure that you give what the question asks for - this might sound silly but i've seen many people lose marks for simple things like this
@@lospistachios1254 i need tips too i can’t really help, but i’m basically doing one practice paper a day and watching video walkthroughs, and revising predicted topics which are likely to come up, we got this!
Case studies killed me in Paper 1. I always struggle to remember key facts or details, especially bad at resource managment too, energy doesnt help since i dont find it very interesting. Hopefully i can try a CATT paragraph to help :(
nah not if it’s that paper as far as i know. the point stands tho that there are often repeated points you can make across multiple questions 👍 i still think the + economic and - environmental impacts will apply
No, don't worry - this video relates to AQA (though the tips can be used universally). The only time multiplier effect may come up in paper 2 is if YOU CHOOSE to write about it should the question ask something such as "How does the urban core contribute to a nation's economy?" but you have the freedom to choose another answer :)
considering it’s in 2 days you may struggle to do lots of past papers. one past paper is good if you have the time tho. try planning lots of questions like the challenge grids in the bio too defo weaknesses would be best if struggling for time tho
a newborn baby can get a grade 9 on geography, all questions are common sense. There is no point of revising for it, even without knowing case study info exactly, you get at least a grade 7 Edit: I want to also add that I passionately hate geography for even existing as a subject, it is so effortlessly easy and boring that it honestly feels insulting to take the geography exam. You get marks for saying the most basic stuff like LIDCs are less developed so they have worse, weaker infrastructure, leading to more damage being caused from this event and more casualties resulting from falling buildings blah blah blah. The only stupid part about geography is place specific information that you have to memorise to make sure the examiner knows how absolutely passionate you are about the subject so they can award you marks. I will not ever revise geography. it disgusts me that subject even existing and it is only a test to see whether or not you are capable of being a human being.
