To this day I firmly believe that Aizen had a personal vendetta against Toshiro 😂
It's never implied and he'd never care enough for this to be true, but it's almost like he's mildly offended someone like Toushiro is considered a prodigy. Given Aizen's lack of equals, I could see a lesser character being annoyed how far short Shiro falls despite the praise. So he bullies him lol.
I think he just finds Toshiro as easy to manipulate as Hinamori. Aizen needs to gets his entertianment in.
@@Reshapable Aizen is kind of implied to be "lonely" because of his strength and thus has a lack of purpose with no peers. Toshiro meanwhile constantly maintains a sense of identity, goals, and sense of purpose that Aizen doesn't have. So yeah, I do believe he dislikes Toshiro, even though he acts above him.

You guys are on point. Even if Ichigo can see everything he really couldn’t alert anyone who was under Kyoka Suigetsu’s influence. Aizen can affect their sense of hearing so they can’t hear Ichigo scream. If Ichigo tried to move them, Aizen can affect their sense of touch so they can’t feel him or their sight and hearing to make them believe he was an enemy. A truly terrifying ability that’s way too broken as a Shikai but one of my favorite abilities in anime.
It makes you wonder what could be the bankai of such a scary ability lol
I think it is his bankai and he was lying. His shikai could be the water mist that others thought it was.
@@dohalimilqarasdeldemenanci8483 The only way I could think to upscale this power is whatever you experience under Kyoka Suigetsu’s power becomes reality. For example, he said he could make a fly appear to be a dragon with Shikai so a Bankai would actually turn that fly into a dragon. But, that pretty much goes more into reality warping and pretty much makes it whatever he imagines becomes real, which is very different from hypnosis. I’m sure people have had creative ideas. I always assumed the reason Kubo didn’t give him a bankai is because he probably couldn’t really think of one himself. I’m sure Aizen has one, but I guess Kubo might not really know it himself. His Shikai is pretty much Bankai level anyway.
yea in manga Ichigo looks a wreck when it finally shows him trying to get their attention like he's been screamin his head off.. and yea his bankai was hinted in the novels to only be effective on those already under his shikai

You guys are the smartest reactors I've seen when coming to this episode. You got it right why captains couldn't hear ichigo. I've seen some people stating "ichigo could have shouted or do anything about it".
Honestly I’m shocked more people didn’t get it Aizen said 5 senses like 6 times in the past episodes.
That and people still remain under his hypnosis even after. It doesn't wear off unless aizen wants you to see what's real. Scary power indeed.

I agree with everything Adorkable said about Aizen in the beginning. He's not a good person but still can't help but admire him cuz of how good he is at everything he does.
Btw this is one of the coolest BLEACH episode ever. Seeing how Aizen fooled everyone and with that OST is just crazy. Poor Hinamori can't catch a break. All she did was love Aizen and this is what she gets everytime. I think Aizen really loves trolling Hitsugaya.
I love Ichimaru's speech in that episode. One of the best monologues to try to describe Aizen's basic power.
It's absolute bullshit though xD All of this monologue, and Aizen still isn't even close in power to like 10 other characters in Bleach. At least not at that point, without hogyoku, before he became immortal. Yamamoto's power was still superior. Aizen had to seal his sword away and use it against him to win. Urahara's power was still superior. Aizen himself admitted, that if it wasn't for hogyoku making him immortal, his Fūsatsu Kakei would've killed him. Ichibe is even more powerful than both of them as well, has even stronger hax than Urahara, and even more power than Yamamoto. Several other characters among the Zero Squad like Ōetsu are also either equal, or superior to Aizen in power altogether. Even Kenpachi, after he was properly trained, would've been easily on or above sheer power level of Aizen. And that's just the shinigami who are above him, I'm not even mentioning the Quincies, many of whom are more powerful than those shinigami's I mentioned.
No, Aizen is not the undispiuted sheer power champion of Bleach, not even close. What makes him special, is the fact that he is ALMOST the best at MANY things at the same time. He is not the smartest character in Bleach - but he is ALMOST the smartest. His ability is not the strongest in Bleach - but it is one of the strongest. He is not the most powerful character in Bleach - but he is one of the most powerful. No other character combines all of those traits in a single person like he does. Urahara may be the smartest, but he isn't powerful enough to be the one above all. Yamamoto may have the most potent ability, but he isn't smart enough to be the one above all. Kenpachi may be the strongest of them all, but his ability is not potent enough for him to be the one above all. Aizen is 9/10 in everything. This is how he can stay on top and be a threat to all. Even if he encounters someone with a more potent power than his own, like Yamamoto, he can use his smarts to beat him. Even if he encounters entire Gotei 13 at the same time and their combined power is about to beat him, he can use his crazy ability to outmanouver them all. He plays his strengths perfectly. This is why he is finally beaten not by any single character, but by a teamup of Urahara and Ichigo - the smartest and the most potent character fighting together to beat him.

Aizen's Kyoka Suigetsu was active the whole time. Once someone sees it, they are under its effects and Aizen can turn it on or off. However, I personally think he was legitimately fighting everyone until the 4 (Soi Fon, Kyoraku, Shinji, and Hitsugaya) started to fight him.
Reasons are that: 1. They show Ichigo's reaction to the people getting crushed by Aizen, and 2. Gin has that whole speech about Aizen's power and why the Arrancar follows him. It wouldn't make any sense to have that speech if it was revealed that they all lost due to him using his zanpakuto's ability.
It's not until he's fighting the 4 that it get's trickier to determine when he switched places with Momo. In my opinion, he doesn't switch places until after he negates Soi Fon's shikai. While he could have been creating illusions during that interaction, I do think he's legitimately able to stop her attack with his Spiritual Pressure, which adds more to how strong his power is.
I would say only just before the Hitsugaya back stab

Aizen still too fast for Ichigo to track, so it not implausible for Aizen to just swoop in and out
To add on that, it couldn't simply be a complete Illusion because someone projected a shadow through the ice which is how Shunsui teleported. So *someone* was really there moving and doing something and Momo wouldn't do shit against four captains lmao. Aizen probably made Soi-fong hit the ice or straight up tanked her ability and then switched after that. Also don't think Momo could take a hit from Shunsui without exploding so it was probably Aizen too up until that point since the shadow was still on the ice. He switched right after that most likely

There are many ways for Aizen to fck around, Kidou, Spiritual Pressure, Flash step, etc, everything of his shinigami strength is peaked, only thing missing is Bankai, and we never really learnt all the Kidou effects, maybe there is a spell used as sth to cast shadow
Example, Kyouka Suigetsu sword being there, then using Kidou to cast light to create a close and strong shadow for Shunsui to pop in
Why wasn't Ichigo under the effet of Kyoka Suigetsu ?
Yeah you're right, Aizen's Zanpaktuo is just straight up busted, but on top of that it's more that *HE'S* using the Zanpaukto that makes it straight up scary.
There was a saying I remember "I'm not worried about the gun, I'm worried about the man who's holding it." Who would you be more afraid of, a stormtrooper or John Wick with the same weapon?
A small minded individual with Aizen’s Zanpakutou could become a petty thief simply covering his tracks to not get caught. Aizen becomes god
The Can't Fear Your Own World novel, the author even hinted that Aizen's Shikai is not as dangerous if it wasn't Aizen holding it. Aizen's overwhelming reiatsu is the reason it can affect Captains like this. If it was a weaker individual, although would have the same control, you'd never be able to manipulate this many high-level beings like this. Also, it was hinted that abilities manifest themselves in powerful people, its why Yama, Aizen, and Ichigo all have broken Shikai, because they are so strong normally. Hitsugaya is further proof of that, his Bankai's power is extreme, but like him its underdeveloped because he hasn't reached maturity.

@@Kal911 Right, which means the inverse is also true. The bigger the gap the less effective it is. Like how Sui-Feng's Shikai can't affect Aizen, because the difference between their reiatsu is too great. That might actual imply, that if you are strong enough that Kyoka Suigetsu not only isn't as effective, it outright might not even work.

I know he is the main vilain...but the way Aizen looks at his enemies after he destroys them is just cold and badass ! I feel the entire time he is saying to himself : " Bitch please" !
I always imagine Ichigo watching that battle like the captains are just flailing around in the air tripping over each other while aizen is just casually strolling towards Hinamori and he just looks ichigo dead in the face and puts a finger in front of his lips like "shhhhh~"

The way the Fandom saw this since it came out was that ichigo could have been screaming for hours to them but aizen controls their senses he never let them hear ichigo
I think the dialogues in Bleach are pretty underrated. Like yeah they are known for sounding cool and one-liners but most people don't see them as they see like any One Piece dialogue. or AoT dialogue. Like here Toshiro's and Soi Fon's dialogues, or even Aizen's, while sounding cool, also serves a narrative purpose. I assume they are caught up in patreon, but still (spoilers)
Toshiro's "sword swung out of hatred and without any purpose is just filthy violence. Sword should be swung out of Duty. That is what Captain does. You are not a Captain, Aizen." Not only here, Unohana in SS arc says Aizen isn't fit to be a Captain and Urahara in flashback arc cuts the lieutenant insignia on Aizen's shihakusho. Doesn't it feel weird that Aizen betrayed them so hard but they still talk about him not a "Captain" material? But when Ichigo uses his "sword" FGT against Aizen, only then Aizen gets defeated. A sword swung by only keeping in mind Duty not desires.
Soi Fon's "We are fighting for survival. Saving the world is just an excuse" to Ichigo. Yet Yama in next episodes is ready to suicide and kill all his Captains inside the flame pillars if it means defeating Aizen. "Every Soul Reaper is ready to give his/her life for the greater good" or something like that. But isn't that opposite of what Soi Fon said? There are many examples of these.
kyokasuigetsu is the bungee gum of bleach, they will always tell you its power lol
I think the general assumption As to Aizen using his power is that Kyoraku's attack misses Aizen and he switches with Hinamori right after that before Hitsugaya strikes. Throughout the fight though its very possible Aizen is slightly altering peoples sense so their attacks miss him more easily though, certain scenes play out that kind of imply that like when Rose launches his wipe, he very easily moves with it attached to his sword and then catches it later like its not aimed right at him.
He has no injuries at all which means he was also not hit by suzumebachi which means what he said about a stronger spiritual pressure was a bluff.
@@Karma-pq9fi He has healing though, same thing happened with Shinji's first wound on his arm. At that point its unlikely that never hit because he didn't have full knowledge of Shinji's power initially.
As for the bluff, we see that to be the actual case with Kenpachi so this is just an extension of what we already know.
Also this have to be in close enough proximity to his real body here for Ichigo not to have sprung in earlier, he wouldn't have waited on the sideline unless things played out exceptionally close to what everyone else was seeing.
after this episode, i know for a fact that aizen had a thing against hinamori and/or hitsugaya

so imo, aizen really hated the fact that momo survived his stab back in SS arc, so he wanted her dead here, but not directly at his hands

Yeah they censored a lot here because Hitsugaya straight up got cut in half 😢 Komamura also lost his arm - his bankai is intrinsically linked with him so if it loses a part, he also loses that part. I think his is the only one that works like that? I forget.
And what's even funnier is yeah - everyone seemed to misunderstand how Kyokyasuigetsu worked - they assumed he had to activate it again in order for it to take effect but it's literally a one-time-use ability. Once you're under it, you can't get out. If he had used it again at any point during the battle, Ichigo would most likely have seen it (because why would you take your eyes off your opponent) and they'd be screwed regardless. So yeah, it's not so much "when did he activate it" it's "how do I know I'm not under its effect right now?"

Gotta say I've never heard the "used Kyoukasuigetsu to not have the Cpts hear Ichigo say anything while they were fighting Hinamori".

Not here. This is his basic strength but it was leading up to that. He transcended once he began fighting Kisuke,Yoruichi and Ichigo

The question when did he activate his shikai doesn't matter. That was the reason for Gin's monologue. Aizen is just simply strong.
@38:28 this was established way earlier in Bleach. Remember the Zaraki vs Ichigo when ichigo bust his palms open trying to cut Zaraki in his chest & his palms exploded? Zaraki explained that if a weaker spiritual power tried to clash with one that's larger whatever affects it's trying to dish out to the enemy with the larger spiritual power would get cancelled out hence why Ichigo's palms initially exploded. Ichigo only got stronger briefly because of zangetsu.

I assumed there was more to the fact that Aizen's powers use hypnosis and the two shinigami to defect with him were Tosen, a blind man, and Gin, who always kept his eyes closed. Tosen, clearly, couldn't be hypnotized so his reasoning was purely his own. Gin had his own personal vendetta, but I thought it would be revealed that he kept his eyes closed most of the time to negate the hypnosis to maintain some agency. I really overthought it at the time XD
And here is why Aizen Sosuke is the most OP main vilain in all of Shonen anime...The man with a plan, the Palpatine of Bleach. The thing is, it's not just that he beat all of those powerful opponent without breaking a sweat, it's how he did it and using Hinamori as a meat shield for Toshiro's is just extra ....extra cruelty !!! God his OST Treachery is glorious !!

This and the Aizen Villain reveal are two of the best twists I've ever seen in shounen.
When Hitsuguya was younger he must have done something to irritate Aizen to get so much special attention.
AS far as we know... Ichigo might have been the one blocking all of those attacks that would have hit each other... saving them... and they thought it was Aizen defending himself... ichigo was yelling at them to stop... or they could have all been attacking an empty space all along... until the last moment when he switched hinamori in... aizen is fast enough to just grab hinamori and throw her into the fight...
Aizen could've taken the entire team apart from the beginning. He only let the Arrancars fight because it amused him.
You see, this is why so many people admire Aizen. You could drop Aizen into any anime, hell nearly any story and he is a damn problem.

IN CONCLUSION!!!!AIZEN IS THAT GUY BRO !!!!!😂😂😂😂 this shit got me so shook the first time I watched this episode.
I think what he said about Sui-Feng's Shikai not affecting him was true, it just wasn't necessarily him being stabbed. Also she couldn't have been stabbing Hinamori since that would have 100% killed her immediately. To me, he was controlling Sui-Feng, Kyoraku, Shinji, Hitsugaya, Iba, and Kira all before Sui-Feng even stabbed him, then went down grabbed Hinamori, and placed her there to get stabbed by Hitsugaya. He then went back to where she was "laying" and had her illusion stand up to turn Kira and Iba around. He then turned off Kyoka Suigetsu so they could hear Ichigo, and then cut down Iba and Kira. Still, Aizen's point stands, in that he could have casually been using Kyoka Suigetsu during the fight too, and they never would have noticed since he can activate and release it without using his Release Command.
I think it's up in the air figuring out when the switch happened since he can practically make them fight an imaginary battle. Was anyone at all even stabbed by shunsui's attack? The double sting would have certainly killed hinamori if she was frozen the entire time.

At some point he swapped bodies so quickly not only did Momo Hinamori herself didn't realize it but the rest of the characters as well. When they did it was too late.

My guess is the switch happened sometime between Soi-Fon’s shikai landing and Hitsugaya stabbing “Aizen.” The conversation about conflicting spiritual pressures is true. This episode was dedicated to showing Aizen’s real power, only using Kyoka Suigetsu as icing on the cake, proving what Gin said about Aizen earlier. Also in the manga, it didn’t show the last bits of fighting, so it implies that Aizen moved so fast that he took them all out in a blink of an eye. He could have switched places with Hinamori just as fast.
Aizen remains one of the top tier trashtalkers in shounen even after all these years.

Its never really explained but I think you're right, since he controls all five senses he could have literally inserted Hinamori anywhere anytime. Ichigo could be trying to tell them or stop them but it doesn't matter if they cant hear or feel him. But I think in the last sequence where hes dropping everyone he just bodied them with raw power. xD

Dunno if anyone told you but the reason Tousen explode is because he had once told Aizen if he were to stop hating Shinigami and his ideal weaver. Kill him. And so Aizen did.
Kinda like Black Panther 1st movie "let me die here on my land then live in bondage" or something like that.
This details is in the novel since we all know Kubo Tite always in and out of hospital to a point that later in the manga, the panels barely have background scenery in it. And so most details in pour in the novel to explain the past, parallel and plotholes.
@02:09 lol to be specific it's not like Kaname Tosen is going around killing random people for the sake of just killing for absolutely no reason. He's killing(the bare minimum) with a purpose to achieve his goal. That goal is to help Aizen go to a certain place. If Aizen gets to this place then the least bloodshed will be spilled according to Kaname Tosen. Only then can he achieve not only vengeance but justice on the world but soul society as well. As far as Kaname Tosen is concerned he's willing to sacrifice some for the greater good.... If casualties rack up to achieve his ultimate goal then so be it. Anyways keep on reacting & as Naruto says in the English dub *"BELIEVE IT!"* 👍🏿

The thing is Aizen kyokasuigetsu isnt terrfruing because it can control the five senses but rather you will never know whether you are under its effect or control there is no sign and you cannot even escape it laying on it even one subdues them to his bidding anytime

Aizen was up there, but by the time Kyoraku was supposed to back stab him he replaced himself with Hinamori. And Ichigo, no matter how much he would yell at them they couldn't hear or respond to him since Kyokasuigetsu would have controlled their 5 senses completely. It was impossible for any of these captains to fight Aizen from the get go, especially since he has all stats maxed out and is a Kido Master aswell. He's just too strong of a Soul Reaper.

An entity must either on par spiritual pressure to harm an entity or a greater one to do so but if the gap is not that high an entity can inflict a dmg but mostly a minor one but if an entity have a high reiatsu then his/her opponent he can easily take tank the dmg inflicted upon him/her

She's like an older sister figure to him. If anything happens to her he'll lose it & tbh I don't blame him. Hell if someone from the elite families of Soul Society kills her like they did Tosens homegirl I wouldn't be surprised if he rebelled against the system as well.

Rewatching this episode, I can clearly see now the moment Toshiro provoked Aizen into "teaching him a lesson" so to speak, with his Zanpakuto... Here, when he says "I won't give you a chance to use your Kyokasuigetsu", Aizen then replies with "Oh? You won't give me a chance to use my Kyokasuigetsu?"... and then a bit later goes on to create the whole Hinamori illusion that Toshiro unknowingly attacks... Savage🙂

This is where a shinobi would be beneficial. Having counter to the genjutsus Aizen's powers are mostly nullified. That's what he always had been doing. Uses his speech and intelligence to cover up his plans and make the opponent unsettled and obviously then the illusion.
Aizen power is terrifying he can jump animes and just body people left and right with complete hypnosis. They never stood a chance and the fact that he keep underestimating Ichigo is going to be his downfall.
