Dear Joshua, thank you for sharing your cello playing. 👏 I used to play (not only) this suite a lot and, like you, I always played the last chords in the Prelude as arpeggios, except for the last one, where I played the upper notes together. Perhaps you might like to take a look at how Ailbhe McDonagh, whom I recently discovered here th-cam.com/video/apYAwk5KraQ/w-d-xo.html plays the end of the Prelude. The interpretations are so varied. My Baerenreiter edition which I purchased in the last 1980s is with orange cover from August Wenzinger from 1950. 😉 It's always interesting to hear different interpretations.
