    ECS stands for Engineering Craft Studies BBC One Schools Programme aired usually runs on Wednesdays at 09.15 begining two terms are: autumn and spring terms from September 1972 to November 1972 even sometimes early December before Christmas, with some half term repeats which is normally holds every late October, lasts until late November 1981 last series many repeats continuing Education Learning Engineering Studies from 4 October 1972 until 25 November 1981 with some repeats continuing from 17 January 1973 until 26 March 1980 with some repeats with some half term repeats which is normally hold every mid-February. From spring term 1981 following succeeded by Technical Studies from 21 January 1981 until 1 April 1981 with half term repeats during the holiday. Another two new series from spring term 1982 and autumn term 1982 but this time with two half terms repeats which is normally holds one in every late October and another one in every mid-February, with the some repeats.

      Tufnol! It's a type of composite (unlike Delrin, which is plastic); it is paper or cotton reinforced plastic.
      Cotton/paper and resin is laminated, then pressed together at high pressure, and left to dry (where the fibres of the paper/cotton also 'soak up' the resin).
      This forms a good, strong laminate sheet that is quite durable and wear resistant. And dependent on the resin used (for example, in the gear application), it can be self-lubricating.

      British vs. North American pronunciation and spelling. The video uses the correct British (and most of the rest of the English-speaking world) pronunciation.
