I love how even in a trying time, such as learning that Austin has cancer, that you two are still so happy and loving and positive. I want a marriage like the one you two have. Your love for each other is absolutely beautiful.
Cardinals and blue birds too❤my son passed away last year at 23. From right before he passed away til now and all our family and friends see bluebirds multiple times a day.He leaves me feathers everywhere even when absolutely no birds there, and I have kept them all❤ Meaningful story...my step son came to collect a charm that has my son's ashes in it. We were outside at the time and a bluebird sat in the tree right next to us within arms length. He is definitely here with us still❤also my mom passed a few years ago and there is a cardinal family that is always near and will come to me when I say "hi birdie" ❤crazy how life works
@@nancyfarkas3592 cancer in gernal my friend but I agree with ya I lost my dad to colon cancer in 2023 he beat it twice but a third time he wasn’t lucky so I urge people go get checked out for any time of cancer you think it is and started on the steps to beat it for good
This ginger with all my freckles, and no sunscreen in the 1970's & living at Bear Lake every summer tanning beds, etc..... I get melanoma removed nearly every year.... It is frightening, but we got this, Austin!!!
I have had basal cell carcinoma 3 times, and it's no big deal. Your dermatologist will remove it and keep watch to make sure it doesn't come back. You'll be fine!
I used to work at a dermatology clinic, and basal cell cancer is for sure one of the best kinds of cancer to have. The lady on the phone explained it very well! Definitely nothing to worry about! It’s nothing like melanoma or something else. The clinic I worked in saw mostly elderly patients, and I’d say at least half of the patients had been diagnosed with basal cell more than once. Probably generally very common, and thankfully very treatable.
Cancer is such a scary would. It strikes fear in all when we hear it in reference to those we love or ourselves. I will be keeping you in my prayers Austin. God bless you and your beautiful family.
I will be praying for Austin not to have any more skin cancer spots. I love watching Austin play with Lucas. You guys are awesome. It was also nice seeing Maple. God bless you all.
You guys are the most positive people ever. For hearing news like that and just laughing about it (in a good way) and you'll get it all fixed is just so amazing. You guys are such a great couple & parents ❤
Austin you got this my man….. you guys are making the best of the mement and I love yall for reasons like this. Sweet baby Lucas is just lighting up my happy buttons. Goodness he sure resembles Micah every second. Well good at least y’all got some one on one time with lil guy. Love yall you got this.
I am so sorry about these news. I was born with a tumor, after gearing about that I have been really scared of getting cancer, so 100% get how scary this is. I hope you will make full recovery
Thank you for doing skin checks and getting anything that looks suspicious looked at. My little sister died almost a year ago from skin cancer at the age of 36. Our family is still devastated. You are never too young to get skin cancer.
I was so worried. My 1st thought was to talk to Zack & get some advice & support from someone who's gone through it. But, it is good to hear that it's easy to treat & shouldn't spread. The definition of "good news & bad news" Yall are amazing staying positive & making light of it. 👏🏼👏🏼 Love you guys!!
I as a wife schedule ALL my husbands appointments I just tell him when he has them😂😂😂😂 part of life and I don’t mind it I definitely make sure he takes care of himself…. You got this Austin!!!! Praying for you
I'm 29 and have had melanoma and basal cell carcinoma multiple times. The key is to get regular checkups, and they pose very little problem. I had to go every 6 months, but just graduated to a yearly exam! :) I go to a male dr. at Tanner Clinic in Layton and get a dig and burn every time. Leaves a bit of a scar, but it's not too bad, and you walk out of the office with a few stitches is all. Like the MA said, if you're gonna get cancer, basal cell is a cake walk!
Former Derm office employee Basal Cell is literally the best cancer to have. Are they going to do a MOHS procedure? It saves healthy skin and only takes the cancerous cells. It's easy peasy. I know the C word is scary but You'll do great! Keep up on the yearly skin checks! Love you guys!
I am so glad that Austin is going to be ok! My heart dropped when I saw the video title! I worked for a dermatologist for a few years and people don’t realize how much damage the sun does to your skin, not to mention it is sometimes there way before you can see the signs. You all need to be wearing sunscreen no matter what! Always in my prayers!
The way my heart practically jumped out of my chest!!! I'm glad it's not an aggressive cancer at least. You'll be in my prayers. God has you in His hands!!!!
Austin seems to be the most beautiful kind of soul! He was strong in the face of that dreaded “C” word, he was the most loving and supportive birth partner, the way he loves his family is just so heartwarming and when he smiles his whole fame lights up! Please keep us updated on how he does!
I clicked so fast on this vlog, My thoughts are wirh you Austin, good job you got it checked early, i am a cervical cancer survivor, all coz i got checked, had treatment early. So important to know your body, inside and out. Keep strong. Jess.... in one shot near the end, you look so much like your mum. ❤

My heart just shattered for you guys. Sending love to the whole family. If you feel up to it, schedule more guys nights so you can keep your mind off of it. Spend the most time as you can with your family and friends. Love you all.
this really is one of the better versions that can be taken care of quite easily. It is localised, discovered early, didn't spread at all and welp you might have to get back next year and the next coming 5 years it has a chance for returns which is what often gives the greatest anxiety to cancer survivors but all in all this is one of the better results you could get compared to having it in any of other organ or somewhere else on the body and luckily it was encapsuled and not loose like spread.
My Mum has had basal cell carcinoma several times due to growing up in Malaysia in the 80s. They're very treatable and easy to deal with the earlier you get them, so you have all ready done the hardest part of just getting it diagnosis and treatment plan. I wish you luck, and make sure you up your SPF to prevent more forming.
I too had "one of the best cancers you can get". Day surgery and two weeks off work. That was 5 weeks ago and I'm pretty much back to normal. Boys, check your bits.....
So very common if you want some positive news. Super easy to eliminate. I've had several of them. And my hubby just had one taken out of his upper arm. He went with the linear scar. I've always gone the scrape and burn route. You've got this!
This hits too close to home for me! Just sending you huge prayers!! Always always pay attention to these little signs!! And soak up every minute!!!! ❤❤
Before I even watched the video, I got teary eyed and my heart dropped after seeing the title! So glad it's the less serious but good job Jess for keeping an eye on it for him! :)

I've got one of those steps. It's brilliant. I'm so sorry you got such a horrid diagnosis. But if you're gonna have cancer, that's the one to get! You got that gorgeous baby to make everything ok. He is SCRUMPTIOUS ❤❤❤❤❤❤
It sucks when someone has cancer but it's really great news if it's the kind of cancer that u can get rid of in a simple procedure. My mom had ovarian cancer a couple of years ago..luckily no chemo or anything, she did however loose alot of weight and muscles after it and slowly gained some back, she's also a type 2 diabetic so that didn't help with the weight gain...then this year May 2024 she had colon cancer surgery but the doctors said if u were to have that it's best on the right side and that's where she had it, we were lucky again she didn't have to have chemo again ...which we were very worried about this time since she didn't have it last time...but prayers were heard and answered and didn't have to ...she's still a bit sore but she's doing good...she'll be 72 this year on July 19th.😊
Lots of prays for Austin... my mom will have her 8th basallcell karzinom surgery tomorrow and she is doing great every time.. so you will do, too!!! Keep my fingers crossed ❤
Austin I am so very sorry and I pray for u. I'm glad it wasn't a more aggressive one and wish it had been nothing. In 22 I lost my husband to cancer and we was still in honeymoon phase. I got to have two amazing mths of being married to him before he died and all the memories before. I wish his could had been simple or not at all either. My heart goes out to u both. And I pray the doctor gets rid of it all. Cancer is so hard I know from experience. Love u guys lots.
omg that had me worried. i am so glad to hear it's a milder form of cancer. still, sending prayers & hoping it is all fully removed & is gone & stays gone! x
I had skin cancer removed from my left hand a few months ago. I am not an outdoorsy person and I asked them how I got skin cancer on my hand and they told me it's one of the most common areas because the sun beats down on our left hands as we drive. Also, left side of face. Once you have surgery there is a cream on Amazin that removes the "red" scar from your hand and 😅I can barely see any trace of mine. Best of Luck to you
Don't worry, Austin. I have had basal cell and squamas cell cancers so many times I have lost count. I go to the dermatologist every 6 months and I always have spots frozen or burned. Most of the surgeries I have had are regular surgeries. I have had several MOHS surgeries on my face and neck so there is minimal scarring. The damage you have is most likely from when you were a kid. Just use sun screen liberally and often. Sun damage is cumulative.
My mom gets SKs frozen every time she goes to the dermatologist and she goes at least 2x a year as well. She's also had a few precancerous growths removed too. Since she grew up in the 60's, skin protection wasn't the same as it is now. I'm trying to go at least once a year myself to get a good all over check done.
Thank God that if it has to be cancer, it is this one. Austin, you got this, and you will be fine. The love you two have is so beautiful. It scared me when I saw this title. But I was relieved to learn what type. Because Jess and those beautiful children need their daddy. Love you all so very much. Keep those videos coming. Austin, keep your checkups. Love from Texas. ❤❤❤❤❤
Lucas’s laugh 🥰🥰 Glad Austin told the Dr to to biopsy his suspicious area. Basal cell are very common skin cancer. Get in the habit of always using sunscreen 45SPF or higher. ❤
You’ll be fine Austin💜 stay positive my man. I never clicked a video sooo fast I thought the worst. Even tho I’ve never physically met you watching all your channels over the years I care deeply for you guys 💜💜. I just lost my father yesterday and was thinking oh man not Austin to. ❤ So glad you got it checked Austin, early detection of any kind of cancer is always best. Thank God it was the 'best' kind of cancer that can be removed. Wishing you a quick appointment to get rid of your cancer spot and a speedy full recovery. Your sharing of this brings awareness to why it's so important to get yourself checked by your doctor. 🥰🤗
If your gonna be treated for a skin cancer, basil type is the best one to be treated. Thank the sweet lord that it wasn't melanoma! I have had basil cell twice on my nose and I have a very nice white striped scar down the middle. I didn't require any chemo for it. I have learned to wear a hat and plenty of sunscreen and mainly I just don't go out into the sun that much. Austin you will be fine, however this is a life learning lesson for you and Jess. Now you will always be on guard with yourselves and the kids and "our" friend the sun because you now know what to look for. Love always to you guy's!!! Oh, I forgot to say Lucas is just simple adorable.
My husband had the same cancer on his temple. A few months back. They didn't even call him back to tell him it was cancer after they removed it, Cause they got it all during biopsy.
That title freaked me out! I was so scared when I read it. I'm so relieved and happy that your going to be okay Austin. Lucas is so cute, fun and silly! Love you guys!

Now you will always be on guard with yourselves and the kids and "our" friend the sun because you now know what to look for. Love always to you guy's!!! Oh, I forgot to say Lucas is just simple adorable.
As serious as cancer can be...you are lucky.
Skin cancer runs in my family, it can be treated and you will be good
Sending a plethora of love and prayers ❤
Oh Austin. You'll be OK. Stay positive. My daughter had thyroid cancer 2 years ago and she's completely OK. Prayers and love. 💜💜💜
Sending prayers to Austin you got this you will be ok!!
So glad Austin is okay. Love your family ❤️
My husband had the same cancer on his temple. A few months back. They didn't even call him back to tell him it was cancer after they removed it, Cause they got it all during biopsy.
I had basal cell on my forehead. I was so relieved! I'm glad you were checked out.
So sorry! 😢 you got this! Sending lots prayers to you all.
