Guys what if Viktor's loss in colors means him leaving the ice or ice skating. That would explain why the two Yuuris are blooming so much with color because they feel inspired or the colors represent the feeling ice skating brings to them. We saw in the latest episode how brightly Viktor looked as he watched everyone skate, perhaps he's now realizing the joy he can get just seeing others succeeded. I think( hopefully) that Viktor's color fading is a good thing.
and then, if you notice, every time either one or both Yuris show up in the screen with Viktor the background is brighter or more lively, and Viktor also starts shooting a lot of colour from his hands and emanating a colourful aura, like the other two. I think this may mean that with the presence of Yuuri and Yurio, Viktor is more complete and happier than he was before since, as we've been told in episode 10, Viktor had been neglecting love and life a lot

I UNDERSTAND! Through all Viktor's life of skating, he never experienced life or love right? From episode one when he first saw Yuuri, he saw and opportunity to find love or life again after losing himself to skating. That's why its getting colorful. Yuuri is bringing color into Viktor's life.
Viktor didn't lose a lot of color (but you can see a really dark gray). But when you see him with the other characters you see a lot of color. Either something bad or amazing is going to happen to viktor.
We've gotten more and more of his internal monologue recently, and he himself mentioned that he thought he had to gain strength on his own. It's heavily implied that standing where he does, as Yuri's coach and not in the ring, has changed that perspective. Seeing things from a different place, I feel like in some ways the colors could be a representation of his mental perspective. His hair goes from silver to a darker purple tone, Yurio's hair gets brighter, and their clothes get brighter, as well as all the added effects around them. Meaning that, in one way or another, the three characters on screen have changed somehow during this season. In Viktor's case, I think what happens to him will depend on a decision he'll have to make: to stay with Yuri and support him and his growth, or to go back to the rink with the new knowledge he's gained. For both Yuri and Yurio this season has been a chance to show themselves as prominent skaters, and each came with a completely new image and impression than either had before, thrusting them into the spotlight as they performed outstandingly.

I'm guessing he's conflicted about what will happen at the end of the time Viktor gave him. Will they part or will they stay together? If this is an end, I pray it be a good one.

Ok, the colors surrounding Yuri and Yurio are bolder/there is more color all together. I think this is to show how much they've grown in their skating and as people. The darker shades when Viktor is alone but color when he is with another character might be to show how much Viktor is becoming attached to Yuri, and how dark his world would be without him in it. Also I noticed that the pink in the background towards the end of the song when Yurio and Yuri are dancing together is the ice rink that the Grand Prix is at. I think that is meant to mean that their futures/destinies are becoming clearer. They know where they are headed and all that's left to do is get there. This is just my theory.

"Let's end this" has to do with their retirement, guys so they would both win on a high note. Yuuri had already been mulling over the idea and his goal now was just to win with Viktor, and Viktor's future as a skater was uncertain as well from the interview in the first episode. A figure skater's career ends at around their 30's after all. I imagine if there is going to be a second season it would be focusing on Yurio since he's still young into his career.

It's honestly amazing how deep colors changing can be in this show. I feel really bad for Viktor tho, especially if they do break up. Viktor has been more into it from the start and that would be soul crushing for him
Maybe it means that before Yuuri met Victor he had a dull life; full of failure and disappointment. But after he actually got to know him and basically become married to him it felt as though he had a new meaning; colorful and full of life.

Victor's backgrounds lack colour at the beginning, however as both the song progresses, and the lyrics say things "you set my heart on fire", his backdrop gains colour. the colours in the intro definitely have some significance. it's amazing to see how it's developed over time.
I know that feeling. All I did in a week was watch Yuri of Ice, watch other people's reaction to the new episodes, listen to their songs over and over, and theorise what'll happen next. But, now I guess they might release season 2, especially with the huge number of followers

After listening to this song like a million times, I feel like this song is like a conversation between Yuri and Victor. In the beginning of the song, it's Yuri talking about his struggles about not having enough confidence to skate. Then Victor comes in and encourages him to keep on skating because of Yuri's passion for skating. After that, it's almost as if both of them are singing together and saying that they were "born to make history" and doing something that's never been done before.
I like how later in the show the colors are more vibrant and you can understand how comfortable Yuuri and Victor are with each other.....aaaaahhhhh, subtle details
Random theory that just popped into my head: Do you think that this might possibly be because Viktor has added "color" into Yuri's life? I mean, before Viktor entered Yuri's life as his coach, Yuri's life was just on a downward spiral because of his loss at the Grand Prix in episode 1. And it wasn't just Viktor who added more "color" to Yuri's life, the other skaters did too... so that might explain the other skaters' faces in the background? And if you noticed that Viktor's color in episode 11 was darker... possibly something bad might happen to him or Yuri? Yuuri had already been mulling over the idea and his goal now was just to win with Viktor, and Viktor's future as a skater was uncertain as well from the interview in the first episode. A figure skater's career ends at around their 30's after all. I imagine if there is going to be a second season it would be focusing on Yurio since he's still young into his career.

I read somewhere that in Japanese there are several definitions of the word, and in that context, then Yuri says "let's end this", he probably meant to do away with figure skating, but not with their relationship with Victor.

It's honestly amazing how deep colors changing can be in this show. I feel really bad for Viktor tho, especially if they do break up. Viktor has been more into it from the start and that would be soul crushing for him
Maybe it means that before Yuuri met Victor he had a dull life; full of failure and disappointment. But after he actually got to know him and basically become married to him it felt as though he had a new meaning; colorful and full of life.

Victor's backgrounds lack colour at the beginning, however as both the song progresses, and the lyrics say things "you set my heart on fire", his backdrop gains colour. the colours in the intro definitely have some significance. it's amazing to see how it's developed over time.

After listening to this song like a million times, I feel like this song is like a conversation between Yuri and Victor. In the beginning of the song, it's Yuri talking about his struggles about not having enough confidence to skate. Then Victor comes in and encourages him to keep on skating because of Yuri's passion for skating. After that, it's almost as if both of them are singing together and saying that they were "born to make history" and doing something that's never been done before.
The opening in episode 11 it was beautiful.
I like how later in the show the colors are more vibrant and you can understand how comfortable Yuuri and Victor are with each other.....aaaaahhhhh, subtle details

Random theory that just popped into my head: Do you think that this might possibly be because Viktor has added "color" into Yuri's life? I mean, before Viktor entered Yuri's life as his coach, Yuri's life was just on a downward spiral because of his loss at the Grand Prix in episode 1. And it wasn't just Viktor who added more "color" to Yuri's life, the other skaters did too... so that might explain the other skaters' faces in the background? And if you noticed that Viktor's color in episode 11 was darker... possibly something bad might happen to him or Yuri? But he is more colorful when all the other skaters' faces appear, so perhaps a comeback from depression of some sort?
