@bakugokatsuki1812 I could be wrong but I think it was on purpose bc you can see he pushes myself on th3 ground just to make his hand land to make the mistake/move whereas if it was an honest mistake his reflexes could've caused him to stubble atleast a little then the hand landing on the ice, i do recognize its a hard choreo but the idea of the pre-planned mistake isn't completely unthinkable(I kinda overanalyze things cs I'm sorta paranoid so I apologize if I came off as a know-it-all 😭)

That is actually not a fall. In the IJS System it would have only been a deduction for a touch down because his hand touched the ice, but he did have the rotations he need to land the jump it would have been a good G.O.E. Thought u would want to know what was going on for the next season on YOI!

The Monochromatic Cobra yuri wasnt inspired in yuzuru, his inspiration was never specified and kubo even said he represented jpn ice skaters as a whole (plus theres a retired japanese ice skater that some of the ppl involved in the anime adore whos life takes a similar path to yuris)

-no offense- no, dont use him. he is still very intermediate, half the jumps are very short and unstable. he wasn't able to get low enough for the stationary spins, so it looked very unappealing. I would suggest a young professional to play Yuri if there ever was a movie. -and tbh, I highly doubt there will be-

Sorry I'm late. I just finished watching Yuri on Ice. Quarantine made me watch it. And oh my heart this is amazing 😍😍😍
Even when you touched down on the failed rotation you looked exactly like Yuri, that was pretty great! Props for going through with it 👍🏻 not to mention Yuri’s short program saves all the jumps for the second half, that extremely hard on its own because of high levels of fatigue that start to set in. Not just anyone can pull that off and Joel you did very well that was really quite something to watch😊
