Had to come back and watch this again. I wanna go up to that reservoir soon. I'm going to get a Tinger Dog for next year and definitely wanna take it there. You have the right idea going to places where not many others go. Be safe out there.
I love the auger mount on the track sled. congrats on the grayling! Great idea using a fan. That's cool there is no batteries. Looks like the track sled handled the snow and slush just fine. bummer no kokanee. great video Shandon.
I'm gonna add another set to hold my Spud bar too. I've been wanting one of those fans for a couple years now, but they're usually like 100+ bucks! This company was really able to bring the price way down. I've been impressed with how it handles in slush. It actually isn't too bad in slush. I'm sure there's a limit, but it does really good. Deep snow is no problem for it.
Awesome video! I also fish the flip over style tent. Looks like the next thing I need is a track sled to pull it around! Keep up the good work! I’m sure I’ll see you out on the lakes this winter!
@@NetzOutdoors My track sled was the greatest thing I ever built! If you have a Facebook, friend me on it and I'll add you to a Utah TH-camrs Fishing group
@@jacobparr5948 Thanks man! Hope the Berry treated you well. Once you start selling the rod holders let me know, and I'll start advertising. They're so nice to have
Congrats Dude! I tried to make this same video in Mid-December but all I caught were a few trout. I wanted a Grayling soooooo BAD. Glad you had success. I need to finish by track sled but not to anxious with the registration fee required now.
Was the road washboard because its a packed down winter road ridden by snowmobiles a lot? Up in Red Lake, Ontario we have trails you can drive a truck on some years, just depends on the conditions & our trails do the exact same thing! Just forces ya to slow down & enjoy the ride while surrounded by Mother Nature 😄

@@gregwilson7758 If I'm just attaching the auger to the drill that trip it takes a hole or two of me adjusting it until it's snug tight. After that tho I don't have any issues. I rarely take the two apart as well which helps.
Nice to have a big lake to yourself! Cool grayling, and that track sled is awesome.
I love the track sled for sure! Makes it so much easier to get to spots. Thanks!

Tracksleds are a game changer! Built mine 2 yrs ago and its been awesome! I use my big ol yamaha vk540 also but for bigger trips only now.
@@philipgagne1852 Yes they are! Dang, that'd be nice to have one built specifically for big trips! Might need to do that😂
I almost went up there Saturday, but went to the Berry instead. I want grayling this year. Awesome video!

@@GillsNReelsFishing Dang man! It was cool to get the grayling. Ya the whole registration thing is a bunch of BS. Most still won't register them.

Ya it's ridden by snowmobiles a lot! Weird how it forms those. I was in no rush tho, and can't beat the scenery!
Good day at Smith n Morehouse. It's been a couple years since I've fished it.

How do you have the seats mounted in the sled do they move around a lot? Looks a lot better space utilized than the brackets and lighter

How bad was the road getting in? And how miserable would it be to do without a track sled? I only have my own two feet :(
@@TJMcKay2 You have to have a machine to get up there now. No way you're hiking that far up hill with a sled
Do you have any issues with the auger slipping in the drill chuck? I have the same set up and have trouble with the drill chuck loosening up.
