Great summary, thanks for the video! It would be interesting to see if these archeological and historical evidences back up the Exodus narration so well, why is this interpretation is not accepted by main stream archeology? I cross-checked wikipedia and other sources briefly, and the evidences are definitely legit, but the interpretation is almost always different. Currently it seems like everyone - pro or against exodus historicity - is right.
Completely disagree with Dr. Titus Kennedy that Mount Sinai is in the Sinai Peninsula: (1) The Sinai Peninsula is apart of the Egyptian border, plus a military presence too. It would not make sense for the Egyptians to let them go while they're on their borders. (2) The mountain Moses chases the sheep and meets God is clearly Mout Sinai. Chasing a sheep from Midian Arabia to Sinai would take days, and then to goes back to take Zipporah with him doesn't make sense. (3) Josephus, Jewish tradition, and Paul support Mount Sinai in Arabia. The description in the Book of Exodus from the Crossing to Mount Sinai's is too perfect of a description for it not to be Arabia.
Wow Jonathan, a lot of great content. Thanks so much. Kudos to Dr. Kennedy!
Fascinating. Great material.
"The Exodus: How It Happened And Why It Matters" by Rick Elliot Friedman is a must read for this topic
I have to agree !! This was Great also !!
Thank you.
I wanna see Dr. Titus Kennedy & Divine Prospect have a conversation together on the history of the Exodus.
That was fantastic thanks jonathan
