Maybe not directly, but he has nevertheless lived in Goku's shadow ever since they first met. Even though Goku had help during their fight on Earth, Vegeta has still always considered it a loss to Goku specifically. And ever since then, even though they haven't exactly fought each other very much, Goku has always come out on top without them needing to fight. And even when they finally had their rematch during the Buu Saga, Vegeta later learned that the only reason they seemed evenly matched was because Goku wasn't using Super Saiyan 3. So even though this is their first ever proper, one-on-one bout, Vegeta has always lost to Goku indirectly.
@gurvmlk vegeta was always stronger then goku. Goku got helped with king kai. Then him training in 100x gravity gave em the edge on vegeta. Then came super saiyan and it's been back and forth since. Vegeta i feel is 3-0 against goku. This win though was the cleanest win
@@heykrazy5436 The difference though is that Vegeta has never been the stronger of the two when it mattered. And even when he would become stronger than Goku, he would still fail, followed by Goku showing up to do what he couldn't. For example, when Vegeta was defeated by Recoome, then Goku showed up and defeated Recoome, Burter, and Jeice effortlessly. That, in Vegeta's eyes, was a loss to Goku. Whereas any time when Vegeta might've been stronger while on Namek prior to Goku going through his training didn't count, because Goku wasn't a part of that.
@@gurvmlk that is a horrible example especially when goku literally trained in 100x gravity. You can also say vegeta soften the ginyu force up. Vegeta has the moment to kill cell but his dumb pride got in the way.
@@heykrazy5436 The reason for Goku being stronger hardly matters. All that matters is the end result. That's like saying a basketball player who outperforms another is the worse player because he trained harder.

Android 16 being Gero's son was from a Dragon Ball sourcebook. Akira Toriyama himself gave us that information if I'm not mistaken. Now the funny thing is, Gero's grandson is listening to Magenta talk about Perfect Cell being the one fighting for Earth, as if he wouldn't remember Cell breaking into a newsroom and stating the tournament before he destroyed the planet.

A great movie! This movie was all about bringing back the characters who people started sleeping on. Which is why they kept the Goku, Vegeta and Broly in a different planet. Great stuff!

The reason why i loce this movie is because of how easy going i naturally am. I went into thius movie only wanting to have have fun. Fuck the plot, fuck the ass pulls, fuck the power scaling and any other retcon or plot holes. THIS MOVIE WAS FUN. I went into broly with different mindset and thats why loved it

i saw this back in 2022 in the movies on the b&b movie theater it was wroth it tho there was some people in the theater with me and they was clapping too.
I like Beast Gohan but I don't like how long the hair is. I guess its meant to look like he did when he was ssj2 vs Perfect Cell but I wish they kept the hair length of his Mystic/Ultimate form.
What Getes(Vegeta) said about Jiren’s strength does not make any sense but the other things he mentioned do.
Possible spoiler alert: My own theory on the gammas power scaling I believe they're equal to current super Saiyan blue evolution Vegeta and super Saiyan blue kaioken x 20 Goku who themselves are powerful than mui Goku during the tournament of power. The dragon Ball super superhero takes place a few months after the Moro arc so the Red ribbon army would have the stats of true ultra instinct and ultra ego Vegeta. So even if you don't believe the gammas are on that level current Goku and Vegeta which doesn't make sense because Dr. Gero made Android stronger than super Saiyan Goku super Saiyan Vegeta and super Saiyan trunks just off of the battle stats of the Z fighters during the Saiyan saga. Gamma 1 and gamma 2 are at least the same power level as current blue evolution Vegeta then super Saiyan blue kaioken x 20 Goku.

1. Piccolo is considered black by much of the dbz community, so putting him together with the only other not racist black person in the show does work.
2. Piccolo may be asexual as a namekian, he was still raised on earth. Romance is a common human interaction and he could want it. I wouldnt be surprised if namekians have romantic bonds in general.

Dragonball super superhero is such a fun movie,it’s easy to kick back to. I think dragonball super superhero has a much better narrative than dragon ball super broly, but dragon ball super broly has better animation than dragonball super superhero. I can watch dragonball super superhero from beginning to end, I can’t say the same about dragon ball super broly. I always skipped some of the beginning parts of dragon ball super broly like, the saiyan “backstory”, goku’s “backstory “, and all the bardock scenes.
Because non of it makes sense, it’s very horrible retconning that contradicts what was said in dragonball Z. So Dragon ball super broly gets major thumbs down 👎🏾 for ruining their own lore, dragonball super superheroes manage to make a story without inconsistencies or plot holes. So it gets a 100 times thumbs ups👍🏾

@@infinite-sadness Bardock and gine Manually sending goku to earth, that’s the very top of the list that I’m most upset about, I can maybe let go the rest of the horrible retcons. But that retcon and the retcon that changed goku and vegeta age by stating goku, vegeta, and broly was born on the same day. Hahaha, you won’t believe it. As I’m typing I was playing dokkan battle on my phone and I was participating in a summoning event and on the screen it showed bardock and gine with the caption “farewell kakarot”💢that’s so irritating, I had more to say but I lost my train of thought. It just shoved a scene I dislike most right in my face💢 for a split second I thought about crashing out and throwing my phone across the room, I can tell I’m becoming a better person because the old me wouldn’t just only thought about it, he would’ve back up his words with action.
