BLS Vlog - A Day Out At The Nene Valley Railway With 45041 (PEAK POWER) 23/03/2024

Sadly the wind was not on our side on this trip to the Nene Valley and it spoilt a lot of footage. (Note to self: For windy days a wind defender is required) Never the less our day out at the Nene Valley Railway was an enjoyable one. We got many pictures of the railway and its surrounding area, caught a railtour with top n tailed class 66s at Peterborough Mainline Station and enjoyed the main focal point of our day which was that of Class 45 Peak 45041 "Royal Tank Regiment" . Rare sights were also seen at Wansford when seeing a sentinel shunter shunting stock about in the yard, We also saw the famous Thomas The Tank Engine on driver experience duties.
Note: For the Best Thrash from the peak skip to around 46 minutes in as we leave Wansford for Peterborough. From then onwards the driver gave plenty of noise.

Very good vlog and lovely peak I need to go get on that one day.
That field under the bridge was still slightly flooded when I went, definitely needed welly boots for that.
Yes shame about the wind, i would like to see the other vlog to have in the works.
