- "Moving Big Things Together" is the motto of the Customer Days 2015 at Liebherr in Ehingen, Germany.
One highlight of the program was this spectacular crawler cranes presentation featuring 7 Liebherr crawler cranes: An LR 11350, one LTR 1060, two LR 1600/2 and two LTR 1220 !

I have no idea how many times I've watched this over the years and it still makes my inner child smile.

It's hard to follow what's happening with all the changes in the camera work.
Two big ones has two smaller ones hooked up for counter balance and then the two big ones lift up the massive one

I wonder how much money was spent for this promotional event... I wouldn't be shocked if it was approaching 1 million. Probably dozens of individuals weeks of prep, custom platforms, tooling, and likely much much more.

They are called endless chokers they are essentally very strong rubberbands with a nylon protected outside

Absolutely correct, LR 11350 of course... the model was a LR 1600/2 (1:50). You can find it also in the official Liebherr Shop: Kristoffer Falk

So like how on earth do you transport these machines to where they're needed?
Most of these cranes come part in ISO sized loads so they can be transported anywhere in the world easily.

I know this is only a commercial video. But it makes such an impression on me. I mean every day I speak with different people with different beliefs about this world. Some say that we should turn to god for help, some say this world isn't even real. But watching video like this I want to scream at their faces :this is science, look how it works, you don't have to believe it, you can test it yourself. People's life depends on science every day and yet some of them just don't get it. I would just hang them all on that biggest crane and then just make it unbalanced...

The aspect ratio is 16:9 which is standard for 1080p. Maybe you mean the framing / cropping choice of the photographer.

This is cool nonetheless but the the camera and editing need some work. Every crane is the exact same color scheme, which I get as they’re all Liebherr but with that being said you have to get shots that give a good perspective so I know what’s doing what. The big one has one or two cranes ties to its mainline then there’s the smaller ones flanking it that I think are lifting it while using other cranes as counterweight, kinda like a Manitowoc Maxxer? But what’s holding the counterweight cranes from crashing into the cranes they’re tied to? C’mon Liebherr, if you can make a crane this impressive I know you can afford a proper photographer and an editor

Der nächste Supergau kommt bestimmt (mein Favorit ist Frankreich, dicht gefolgt von den USA und dann China, Pakistan, Indien), da sind Putzmeister Betonpumpen und schnell verlegbare Liebherr Riesenkräne dann wieder hoch im Kurs, für den schnellen Sarkophagbau! Also ich würde als Liebherr damit werben. Vielleicht sollte man gleich welche mit ABC-Überdruckbelüftung und verstärkter Bleiglaskabine gegen lästige harte Gammastrahlung anbieten, die Liebherr FUKU Reihe, wenigstens eine Technik auf die man sich verlassen kann!
