Glen tipton was an innovator of the highest order when it came to the technique of getting his highlights just the right shade of bimbo blonde. He would show most page 3 girls from the 80s up.
In my opinion, the most underrated guitar player of all time, and perhaps the best metal soloist of all time. What an incredible human being. Glenn Tipton, thank you for (1) existing, and (2) so much more.
His playing style changed my approach to the instrument. Till the day I die nothing will make me happier than ripping A touch of evil and Some heads are gonna roll solos. Glenn is an absolute legend!
Just think how many riffs and tunes are in this mans head...........Thanks for all the memories Glenn......you basically raised me from my early teens until now.
Brilliant!! Glenn, the tone and melody, the light touch, and he makes it all look so effortless. He was a massive part of my mid to late teens and early 20s
Holy crap I just re-discovered Tipton's song Voodoo Brother off his solo album. Song is a monster. Holy hell! I bought album when it came out a million years ago. I just realized it's Glenn himself singing on the entire album. Hah. I thought he brought in guest vocalists. He does a damn fine job. I thought he brought in Udo from Accept. But it's freaking Tipton. God this song rocks.
What?! KK co-wrote Victim of Changes in ‘68 while Ted was still farting around with psychedelic rock in Amboy Dukes. It’s called ‘British’ New Wave Heavy Metal for a reason…Ted jacked JP’s tone, not the other way around
Tipton is an absolute beast! The amount of riffs he has given us is absolutely ridiculous. Him and KK together there is nothing better!
A dúo made in heaven
Absolutely

I think after Tony Iommi, Glenn Tipton is the most influential metal guitarist of all time.
Chris DeGarmo? Tipton is although the reason I wanted a electric guitar...
100% agree. Sooo many tasty solos
Damn Skippy.
And for being dick to KK
Glenn, you are my best guitarist of all times. Listening to and trying to play your riffs is and will be joy for many people around the world.
Glenn’s tone settings

Yeah, I think he forgot what awesome tone he had back in the 70s.

Glenn is and always will be the Riff Master. Along with his great runs, fills, leads, and songwriting, Glenn is the best.

Nice playing. Glen was great. Nice nod to the king at the end.
KILLER QUALITY
Underrated guitarist
tipton is monster of a heavy !!!
How nice to hear somebody demo something without an ass pile of delay on their tone. That's what your practice sound should be like.

You influenced my favorite guitarist Bryan Haner to play with the pinky on the strum hand and use it as a lever/stabilizer. You are a god Glenn!

77 years old, dealing with parkinsons but can still play like this, maybe not as good due to illness but he still got it. Respect. 🤘

Any idea when this was filmed?
EL MEJOR.
When I was learning guitar I just couldn't do those pinch harmonics. He does it so naturally...
he uses harmonics in breaking the law?
Прист лучшая риффовая группа классического хэви ,которая ЭТОТ стиль и изобрела В ПРяиНЦИПЕ
He makes it look so easy. Hope all that stuff is insured. It's UK after all crime everywhere

No hes not underated I would pick him and KK over Eddie Vanhalen and Randy Rhodes
They all owe Ted nugent for that tone.
NOT REALLY!
What?! KK co-wrote Victim of Changes in ‘68 while Ted was still farting around with psychedelic rock in Amboy Dukes.
It’s called ‘British’ New Wave Heavy Metal for a reason…Ted jacked JP’s tone, not the other way around
he is playing it wrong. (jk)
I thought Glenn couldnt play anymore due to parkinsons. Wtf is this?
This was recorded somewhere in the early 2000’s. It was on their website back then.
Lot of their songs are corny the video for this song is even cornier than ever
