The only Remington I ever use is the new .30-06, because for me, it represents the archetype of a hunting rifle. Let's hope the Remington rifles get an accuracy upgrade in the near future. The golden rule isant just hogwash. And vengeance is His. Do the people right or suffer His rath. There’s no need for neglect. Me personally, i quit playing it all together and quit funding them. More will follow. The people who pay their bills will soon get tired of it just like me. Look at Call of Duty. It happened to them. Now their game is free on day one because of their actions. It will happen. Trust me.
The polymer ballistic tip allows a hollow point bullet properly equipped with it to have a higher ballistic coefficient. Meaning it flies better. There is a noticeable difference in the performance of the same bullet when one is a pure hollow point versus the same round equipped with the ballistic tip. That the way it works in real life. I think someone got things a little backwards.
I don't get it how the polymer tipped has less energy than the soft point one... It's the same weight, the polymer tipped makes it fly trough the air better than the soft one and it has a bit more energy... This is completely different than what it should be...
Oh that's just the tip of the iceberg. 😂 They have basically "nerfed" all the rifle calibers, for the lack of a better word. They say it's "as close to statistical as the RL ammunition". That would be very nice, if it performed as in RL, but they dont, they under-penetrate a lot! They even penetrated a bit too little BEFORE the ammo update, still they made it worse.....
@@EivindKreyHanssen no no no the actual energy thing is realistic, but the organs are waaayyy too tough. Like the lungs irl are basically like a unripe watermelon with some plastic over it , so basically really soft. In game it's harder than a fkin steak and that's why 90% of the bullets don't have enough penetration. Because the organs are too hard
@@vidbobanec8384 I know (been hunting all my life IRL), but since they have'nt change the internal ballistics (e.g. the lungs etc), they have in effect "nerfed" the rifle calibers, by reducing the energy retention down range.

I did a comparison with 375h&h vs. 300 win mag. Seems the 300 win mag did better in even Africa hunts.

Polymer has a exploding effect when it hits too.
@@mattwoods8381 "polymer tip" in itself is not the only reason if a bullet "explodes". It's the design of the interior of the bullet that matters. 😉

I never use the 270 but I do use the 308
To bad they nerfed all the calibers with this update.
