My 3 yo and 5yo just spent a whole afternoon watching you make "doubloons" they loved every second of it, found the first part esp hilarious when you chucked the tools on the floor. Gold. Thank you
Those are gorgeous....I have to buy some off of you I’m still having trouble burning my brass but I’m getting better thanks for all your help responding to my messages 🤟🏼😈🤟🏼
Love it! I'm learning to make coins. I'm currently going for casting a nuclear coin from apiece of a microwave turntable plate to get my shape. Came out decent, but could be better.
Hey I'm a big fan of your work, was going to throw you the idea of making the ingot currency in the mandalorian. The little metal bars with the imperial symbol on them that the Mando crafts into his armor. Or the coin from game of thrones that arya uses to become a faceless man, just some ideas for you that I would like to learn to make myself tbh :) all the best, Keep up the great work!
@@ArtByAdrock for the star wars currency you can find it by searching Beskar Steel on google, and as for Aryas coin just google that as well. And thanks for the reply! i really admire your work! you've inspired me to start recycling my own metals however i still have much to learn ^.^
Good one Adam, staying hunkered down and in now, hoping not to run out of fanny ribbon, enjoying seeing you do what you do best. The world is getting crazy brother, stay safe and healthy.
I always laugh when you gently lay the hammer down after throwing everything else 🤣 Great video as usual, the coins look really good. Stay safe and take care!!
ANOTHER AWESOME MELT ONCE AGAIN ADAM the Crucible looked heavy from all that brass those coins looked pretty sweet the 1s you did with the Petrobond. So I thought uvwrre going to do the I survived the toilet paper crisis of 2020 lmfao anyways my friend till next week b safe 🇨🇦😎👍🇨🇦😎👍🇨🇦😎👍
Thanks buddy! The toilet paper ones are still in the works. Hopefully if all goes well that video will be out next week sometime. I have 6 printed now but making a few more. Stay tuned 😉
Great work as always! I wonder if the resolution would be good enough on these coins to read a QR Code for a public bitcoin address? It would be cool if you could make a two sided version of that Bitcoin coin with the public QR code on the opposite side that people could scan and contribute to.
PLEASE 3D print a tony stark arc reactor or even his face mask to the MKII suit and cast that ! That would be such an amazing video ! Or even captain America shield coins ?!
I like the coins as usual. I hope you are doing okay as I imagine vegas is just about shut down. How is your casting supply level? Material, flap disks, cut off disks etc?
Thank you my friend! Everything here is closed. All casinos, bars, restaurants, etc.. my supply for material is running low so anything could always help. 👍🏻
Shouldn't you sift the sand before touching the pattern? I know Petrobond is fine, but sifting gets rid of any lumps, and making the finish even better, even though your finish was good.
Please add more molds to your online store! Specifically the skeleton mold in the center. I just order the aztek looking one, but I really wanted the cool skeleton mold
Awesome video man. I do have a question. What's it called when you add the copper to the brass? Or is there even a name for it? Keep the vids coming. J
@@ArtByAdrock the "captain america" star on a graphite ingot mold large enough for a 1lb aluminum or copper ingot most people would call it the NATO star.
that cool vdeo but you having problems with your tongs not grabbing the pot right can see you losing control with it I forge my tongs to hold it strong so can be more control when poring I hope you update your tongs got some can hold it strong so can be more effectively last coin you did wasn't done becuz you lost some when poring on side of the hole but I still love making own coins and more just love it so thank you
Hey artbyadrock do you give permission for anyone else to use your videos? I found one on Facebook today and the guy had his Instagram tagged to it. I took a screen shot for ya if you need it
Yes, so you print 2 halves, one half goes in the cope. Ram it with sand then flip it over and glue the other half on in the drag and ram that with sand. I have many many videos showing sand casting with split halves
I just love casting coins !!! You can never have too many coins👌🏻👊🏻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
That is very true my friend 👍🏻🍻🍻🍻🍻 thinking of doing a live stream later tonight if you’re down for that 🤔👌🏻
Exactly

Why the copper pieces in with the brass? for color? just wondering, nice coins like always!
I was also wondering why the cpu slugs went in - may have helped the colour a bit.

I think if I use my resin printer the detail would be good enough although with pla I’m not so sure. Cant hurt to try though 👊🏻
that superman coin rules
Another successful cast. Random question, what type of 3d printer do you have?
I have multiple printers which I’ll show soon 👍🏻

Hello. Great job. Which show did you do that large skull on? I would like to see how you did such a large project.
I’m working on a large brass one so stay tuned 👍🏻
Awesome video man. I do have a question. What's it called when you add the copper to the brass? Or is there even a name for it? Keep the vids coming. J
It would just be a different alloy. Brass is mixture of copper and zinc so essentially they are very similar alloys already. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
@@ArtByAdrock rite on man. Thank you for letting me know. I wasn't sure. I definitely will keep watching. Awesome videos
What sanding grits were you using on your angle grinder and drill press to clean em up ?
Nice work brother... can you make some iconic monuments likhe Pyramids or statue of liberty or Burj khalifa...
Do you have a video making those smaller molds?
What are they made of?
Awsome....
👍👍👍
Happy to see a bitcoiner, could perhaps make a small spot for a holo on the coins :).
where do you get all the cool mold designs from?
👍
Do you use any flux or de-gasser?
Any Nordic gold videos in the near future?
Goe to make super man coins and a star on a coin, very cool
Cool
Are you able to make graphite molds with the star pattern if so i would be interested in getting a few large molds
Are you talking about just a regular star ⭐️ and how big? Graphite blocks can get rather expensive depending on size
@@ArtByAdrock the "captain america" star on a graphite ingot mold large enough for a 1lb aluminum or copper ingot most people would call it the NATO star.
