Great video, and a better explanation as to why I, a screenwriter dipping his feet into directing my first feature film, need to get a system like this to fit my budget. Thanks!

Hello great video! What stands are you using with your Dana dolly

I couldn’t agree more with what you have to say about the Dana Dolly. My go to for slow controlled movement is my portajib. What I like about using a jib is that you can quickly alter the camera height and angle, but still have long lateral movement. I just have to watch my distance from my subject when it comes to minimizing the curve effect from the jib.

There's nothing like a good, well balanced jib! Butter smooth!

With a small jib you can also mount in on a dana dolly, best of both worlds!

Very educational - thanks! Found your channel because of the overheating videos you made, but I stayed and I'm loving your content!

is there a motorized option to be controlled via app? Also, do the wheels slide smoothly on curved rails?

I just purchased a Proaim Mini Polaris dolly. I have a DJI RS 3 Pro gimbal. Can you please recommend a good reasonably price tripod head I can use with it. I’d appreciate it. Thank you.

I typically use a Manfrotto 504 Head with my Dana Dolly setup. Have a great day!

What stands do you have that on?

Couldn’t you get longer push in shot if you have the camera riser?

The Dana Dolly gives you a lot of flexibility in how you set it up. You could modify it in this way. Have a great day!

I was thinking the same thing, how high can the camera go above the plate?

@@LanzaroteShowcase Right. I got my Dana Dolly now and have done push in’s without a riser but you definitely are limited.

Great video. I am wondering if you have ever used it with a eMotimo Spectrum ST4

I had a job that I investigated getting one, but it fell through, so I never got to actually play with one. Super bummed about it

@@DeafDirector Thanks. I am pretty much a solo shooter and am looking at it hard for the second camera views. I tried someone on the dana dolly and they were not a cameraperson...completely screwed up the shots. I know they are coming out with an attachment to it to add functionality, but when you add it up the Kessler system is cheaper. But I really like the Spectrum ST4. Ah decisions.
