- Sonic Rush Adventure is the sequel to Sonic Rush and also the first and last time we see Blaze’s dimension. I like this game a lot even with the sailing mechanics, but I do ever so slightly prefer Rush over it. Even so, it’s absolutely worth your time. However, I can’t say the same thing for Charriii’s video on it. It’s not only riddled with problems, but he also rags on a particular character for most of the runtime. Normally, I’d be fine with it if his reasoning for it was justified, and while it kind of is, he takes his hatred too far.

Okay, I know I said I'm going to do a Sonic villian ranking next, but I recorded that weeks before the video was fully completed. Since Origins is releasing tomorrow as of writing this, I'll actually make a review of that game before doing the ranking. With that said, thoughts on Sonic Rush Adventure?
It's a meh game for me
It's great, I love it more than the first one because of the extra features (building boats, collecting materials to grow your island, sailing around to new islands, etc). I also loved the music, and the gameplay. So 9/10. Just one question I always wondered though: why are those bosses called "ghosts"? Is the pirate crew's name Ghost, or what else is the answer?
It was a fun experience for try!
Although there are so many Sonic villains that we truly like!
And i just remembered something, i feel bad for Sammie for wasting her talent for a video we all have bias against it.

I know I'm way past late, but I just wanna add that while Blaze was afraid of heights yet still goes to high places in Rush. Sonic's also afraid of water, yet nearly every game has a water level or a beach

Sonic isn’t afraid of water, he’s afraid of drowning due to his inability to swim. He can go into water perfectly fine unlike Blaze who visibly gets shaken up when having to deal with large heights.
Not to mention the stunning soundtrack and how Blaze looks even cooler and more fashionable in her super form.😎

I agree with your point about names for Vector and Charmy, but Amy and Espio? One is pink and her last name is Rose, making her one of three major hedgehogs whose names are related to their colors, and the other is a stealthy ninja spy that can turn invisible whose name is short for Espionage!

Well Sally means an action of bursting forth, especially a sortie of troops changing from a defensive position to an offensive one, a brief outburst, or a witty retort. So that’s pretty much everything with regards to her character

It has been dubbed by fans as Silver's iconic voice line because he says it every time he pauses Sonic in 06.

Edit: Oh, yeah I didn't really see Marine as an frustrating character either. I just saw her as a dumb kid who has been stuck in an island for years (even though that brings the question of where on earth her parents are), so it made sense with how disobedient she was. Charri needs to get a grip 😂
And an actual sin is that Sonic didn't know that Johnny is working for the pirates when he has the exact logo on his chest.

Okay I am pretty upset by this mainly for the Amy thing, since it goes against my belief of why her name is Amy ROSE and uhm- she is like, my favorite Sonic character, so it admittedly bugs me. I think her name is cause she was created as a character to have a crush on Sonic. I know it’s her last name, but it is part of her name, it somehow makes sense in the Sonic universe.
That’s all I have to say in this video I guess.
Oh yeah! Sonic rush adventure. This is one of my favorite Sonic games. I love everything about this. The music, the water vehicles, the bosses, the stages, etc. I also completed every single mission on this game. It wasn’t as hard as secret rings, but some missions were still pretty hard.
16:13-16:51 All of this to say that the sin was, and forever will be, as Jeremy from Cinema sins puts it, "Kids." And given how he treats Marine and Charmy, barely even touches on Cream and cheese, how he despises Luka in the Wonderful 101 remastered, and that one kid in Xenoblade Chronicles, and the fact that his so-called relationship with his ex girlfriend has gone off the rails, I highly doubt he'll be having them anytime soon or if he even wants kids.
Sidenote: Often Marine reminds me of a disney princess, mainly Ariel, with her actions.
Funny thing he doesnt hate Marine or charmy- he said it already on streams. Plus the ex girlfriend things are jokes hence why he keeps brining it up we dont really know his personal life so cant say for sure as far as we aware he might have kids i mean look at jeremy from cinemasins who has kids and a wife

Anybody could’ve said the same thing - actually, some people say things that are 100x worse than what Charriii said. I felt uncomfortable about this scene of the game; I think Charriii5 wasn’t attempting a joke there. If it really was, to me, it sounds like a really terrible joke. 2:49 - Fun fact: in the original Japanese version of this game, Marine speaks with an Osakan accent. In anime, this dialect is frequently used for characters with personalities like Marine's. That being said, the Australian accent in the English version suits her (because she's friends with koalas and her pigtails are shaped like boomerangs).
37:01 - Considering that Silver has made many more appearances in spite of debuting in Sonic '06 (which definitely bombed worse than Rush Adventure), it's actually surprising to me that we haven't seen Marine in any more games (not even the mobile ones).
Well, Silver actually debuted in Sonic Rivals, and 06 actually sold well despite the problems.
@@tonysonic456 '06 came before Rivals (by about a week) if we go by North American and European release dates, but you're right about the sales figures. Maybe that's why SEGA thought they could get away with Rise of Lyric (lol).

The reason the game had poor sales due to time constraints, poor decisions, staff leaving, working on the Wii U (which was Originally supposed to be on the ps4, Xbox one, and PC), and due to Nintendo making a deal to sega to put 3 sonic games on the Wii U.

Hey TonySonic. I recommend that you should upload a video about Charii5's EWW Sonic The Hedgehog 3, as I'm excited to see you prove Charii5 wrong about the sins, since he somehow makes moderate mistakes to this day.
Also, you should tell Charii5 to show the right footage to prove his point when it gets to the Red Eye part, because it is supposed to be regular Sonic's perspective, not Hyper Sonic when you talk about its difficulty and so far as I know, it really isn't that hard or annoying when it has a simple pattern and all you need to do on phase 2 is keep distance when it enters its strongest state.
Hot damn, and I thought Charriii treated _Charmy_ like Luigi.

Just redownloaded my Drastic DS emulator and back to playing this masterpiece of a game for the second time. Liked the story, the characters, the music, of course, and Marine. Sad Sega just had to forget her like that.

I watch a lot of Charriii5’s stuff, and I’m pretty sure he has elaborated that he doesn’t hate Marine (or at the very least, doesn’t hate her NEARLY as much as the video suggests). He exaggerates things he dislikes for the sake of comedy and entertainment purposes, but not everyone understands that or even likes that kind of humor, hence why he and everyone else who makes EWW videos puts a disclaimer at the beginning or end of the video.
Also he’s currently streaming all Sonic games and he managed to get the seventh emerald without upgrades.
So do I. It may not seem like it, but I too exaggerated my anger a little. Also, how tough was it to get the seventh Emerald without upgrades?

1) wouldn't Blaze's ability to float down being limited to 10 seconds just be from gameplay mechanics like Tails' flight?
2) I think it would've been possible to have control switch automatically between Sonic and Blaze in scripted sequences during that final boss. Look up Sly 3 bar fight.

2) You’re already given the option to choose between Sonic and Blaze when you start each stage.

Tonysonic i think charriii5 dubs tails like this for 3 reason. 1 he may not have enough money or resources for a new tails voice actor. 2 maybe he doesn't know someone else to voice tails. 3 or he's too lazy to get a new voice actor.

also to add with sin 31, I don't think Marine has any parents. the reason why cream acts so polite is because her mother raised her to be, but Marine never had that parental figure to teach her right from wrong.

Good point about Marine. I know robots don’t have ages, but Captain Whisker does look old despite that.
Yes, but she does have the coconut crew (Tabby, Kylok, etc…). While she didn’t have parents to teach her right from wrong, presumable the koalas took care of her. I would say what makes Cream different from Marine is that like Charriii said, “there are kids who listen” that Cream actually listens to what people say. An example of why saying Marine not having anyone to teach her right from wrong isn’t strictly true is to think of Charmy and the Chaotix. Canonically, Espio is 16, Vector is 20 and Charmy is 6. While the group is goofy at times, Espio is 10 years older than Charmy and Vector is the oldest and only adult in the group. Meaning that they would definitely be in a position to tell Charmy when he’s doing something wrong, and the fact he’s rowdy is most likely because he doesn’t listen, in one ear and out the other. It’s likely Marine is the same. Like Cream, Marine DOES have people in her life to teach her right from wrong regardless of whether they’re her parents or not, but like Charmy, she doesn’t listen to what they say.
@@JSDS12345 Good point, but kids can be like that. I’ve encountered a good number of kids who are rowdy and don’t listen because that’s just their nature as kids. Whether or not they choose to be better is up to them, and Marine eventually chose to be better.

@@JSDS12345 do they count? I think those in her crew like tabby are more acquaintances than actual role models. They barely get enough screen time to tell if they're really parental figures. If anything, sonic, tails, and blaze are more like parents since they keep telling Marine to not do this or don't touch this or tell her it's too dangerous for her to tag along, warning about her safety like an actual parent.

0:55 Charriii's voices to me are kind of like his videos as a whole. They're mostly serious with an occasional joke, and the seriousness hurts the joke. Also, I bet DT was talking about Charriii's videos on Deltarune Chapters 3-7 (since his Chapter 1+2 videos are my 2nd least favorite videos of his).

@TonySonic the last sin is just such pettiness because charriii5 is intitled to not kids, besides there are plenty of adults that think us teens and kids are ungrateful and annoying so stop using your pettiness as a sin and we will all be better off for it.
It may have sound like it because I was really mad at the sheer only semi-deserved hate towards, but the "Charriii hate kids" cliche is a lot more jokey than it sounds on paper. I'm sure he doesn't actually hate kids in real life, but given the amount of kids he's yelled at and outright shamed sometimes without taking into account their age, it's still deserved.
Well Espio is ‘he spied’ in Spanish, referring to his capacity as the spy and information specialist, Charmy because he’s supposed to be more charming and bright, as well as his vitality and enthusiasm. So those weren’t exactly the best choices for the point you were choosing to make, but there’ll definitely be some other characters who have more definitively unrelated or unworthy names somewhere, for sure.

I find it weird that a majority of your content is focused on shitting on some dude's videos, even when he openly states that these videos aren't actual critiques and that they're heavily over-exaggerated. Seems kind of petty to not only focus a majority of your content on these videos but act as if your opinions are fact You're allowed to not like the dude's content but it's not worth making multiple videos critiquing on videos that are very clearly meant to be jokes and not actual videos on why the game(s) he reviews are bad
I know these videos aren’t reviews. I’ve never referred to them as such. He’s pointing out what he believes to be problems with the game’s story and sometimes gameplay, and I’m providing counters to his points. My main inspirations for these videos are OmegaBlackHeart and Th3Birdman who do videos like these regularly against CinemaSins and Dartigan.
@@tonysonic456 The thing is, CinemaSins and Dartigan are serious in their critiques of the stuff they're sinning, and OBH and Birdman are serious in their critiques of their shit. Charriii's EWW's are comedic and over-exaggerated on purpose and are themselves, parodies (pastiches) of CSins. He's stated this as early as his vid on Unleashed, it's not meant to be taken seriously. You can't really criticize them because they've never been serious critiques, they've always been jokes. OBH and Bird are criticizing people's serious opinions on shit. You are criticizing a parody video. They're not comparable. You can have problems with his content, I do as well, but I don't see the point of creating multiple, almost half-hour-long videos on why his points and opinions are bad when you could just. These videos are a lot more fun to make. Also, if he really was a parody, why are so many of his points genuine? Why does he point out actual flaws with a game’s story? Making whole-ass videos probably isn't going to make much of a difference either if you say he hasn't read them, just because it's for you doesn't mean it's automatically good. Plus if you actually read the disclamer he puts at the begining of them he directly states he's poking fun at the naritves and that they, and I quote "Are not properly reviews or critiques and should not be viewd as such".
