As someone who comes from a super brown family whose love language is cooking and food, and where every special occasion involves breaking bread together…it’s just soooo lovely to see the amount of effort and love you put into making such a huge feast for your family!! I’ve tried making a three course dinner once for my partner and it was exhausting!! Can’t imagine what it’s like making more than a dozen different dishes for so many people!! You’re amazing!! I get super stressed out before cooking for people. I prepare ahead of time. That is what helps me relax. I prep my meals, get the table ready for dinner mid afternoon. Also a good tip my aunt taught me is to clean while cooking, that way you don’t have so much to do after.
