We noticed but we was so excited with everything going on from the music to the video so we kept talking over each other lol. But yes if he meant to or not it’s so brilliant. Also maybe he noticed the white car making a right. At that moment he sort of glanced at the vehicle ( assuring them he is not crazy maybe lol) but continued like the professional he is.

Released it on Pi day. The length was exactly half the length of Nas' Halftime. The traffic light counts down to zero behind his back - and he stops... on cue.

First off, great reaction guys, speaking as an old head, it's so nice to see some young bucks reacting to a beat I grew up listening to, and not only know the original, but actually be familiar with the artist and what makes Nas and his music so significant and important to the culture, so props to you all.
I watched to the end it looks like you guys got all the easter eggs, and the ways Ren paid homage, so I'll just say on the original beat, and the first half of Ren's retake, you'll hear brass horns back in the mix, Nas apparently put those in as a shout out to his dad, who's a Jazz/Blues musician. Ren left them in until about the halfway point, where he stops, the camera circles him and the beat drops out for a second, when it comes back the brass is replaced by that sorta Jimi Hendrix crunchy guitar riff, which I thought was a really nice touch by Ren, without changing the beat up too much. Again, great reaction guys!! ✌💚

Also, when you talk about this being "only two minutes" - actually, when the music cuts out on Ren's Halftime, it's at 2:10. Nas' Halftime is 4:20 (+/- 1 second, depending on where you look). So Ren did it in half the time. Halftime.
