As Aryaan rightfully said, it is not just Rathore, it boils down to the CIA officers, the Principal, the state government, the central government. It hurts so fucking much. Literally so much. Even if one person from the chain stepped away, tried to stand with Ruchika, we wouldn't subject Ruchika, her family, her best friend's family to YEARS of mental and physical torture. It isn't abetment to suicide. It is point blank murder. I feel so bad for Aashu as well. The little boy was literally treated as nothing but collateral damage. And the way they bring him back to his home. It is so heartbreaking.

This would be one of those times that I would not be proud of my school. Sacred Heart. I got enrolled in 2007 and the same Principal who expelled Ruchika was around that time. I remember her stern attitude towards her students and also how at that time, when people might have felt that the reputation of the school is over, it couldn’t be more better at that time. People moved on, no one talked about her in school, maybe someone suffered, no one could tell but all I know in that school, you had to be stern to survive. No one would take your side (even your peers, to support you)

This principal was there when i had joined the school & was there till i finished my primary schooling. Besides this incident happening, at that time my school was flourishing with success. It was actually shocking for me to learn that a school that teaches us to be humble did something like this & imagine it was AN ALL GIRLS SCHOOL which did this.

I'd like to join you guys to complain, because this case is so infuriating. His title should be stripped off and he needs to serve his time in jail and every person involved in this case who helped them should be stripped of their titles and serve a hefty fine and even then, justice won't be served to her. Not just Ruchika, her brother, father and friend are equal victims of this case. And the fact is so bizarre that not even Rathore's daughter or his wife are against him but actually support him. YIKES. Corruption has taken over India and we as a society have failed them. Can't believe that this guy is walking around freely and "respected".

i completed my education from sacred heart and one thing I can assure you that school had absolutely no concern for its students, all these nuns and sisters were harrasing and shaming the girls left and right. ironically we had a subject called moral science I wish this sabastina (who was my principle as well) had attended or read some of it. I clearly remember the day we collectively somehow got to know about this case in school, I have never felt this ashamed and disgusted ever. A school ran under the gise of missionary projects and this infalted moral high ground is nothing but a scam. Can this happen in this day India, Absolutely. Couple of weeks back Odisha's Governor's son Lalit Kumar assaulted a SO, who was posted at Puri reason being SO failed to provide Lalit Kumar Luxury car to fetch him from Railway Station. SO was abused verbally using the most unparliamentary words an Physically assaulted. When SO ran away to hide, Lalit Das goons dragged the SO and further assaulted him. When the SO went to the Police Station to file a FIR, his FIR wasn't registered. When the SO submitted a written complaint to the Chief Secretary no Action was taken.
Governor called the SO and promised him Justice. How convenient!!!

And also guys, Panchkula is a district of the Haryana state. It falls near Chandigarh. Similarly, there is a Mohali district of Punjab which falls near Chandigarh. They aren’t part of it since Chandigarh is a union territory. However, if you combine Panchkula, Chandigarh and Mohali, you get the Tricity. Both these areas are similar to Chandigarh in their structure that’s why most people (even me at times 😅) call Panchkula, well Chandigarh. My point is Panchkula isn’t in Chandigarh but adjoining it.

This torture was going on for years and no one stepped to help IAS, State Government, Central Government, NGOs, women's organization, other parents, local/state/national media, school. This is beyond acceptable. So true it is failure at each and every level.

I watched this video yesterday, shortly after it was uploaded, but I'm still struggling to come to terms with the brutality and cruelty of this case. I felt compelled to return and express my emotions. I'm still reeling from the atrocities committed by that monster, Rathode, who tortured an innocent family. The way he brutalized a 10-year-old child is particularly heartbreaking, and the mental anguish they endured is unimaginable. I can only try to fathom the suffering the father must have gone through. What's even more infuriating is that Rathode escaped punishment, and it's unconscionable that he wasn't held publicly accountable for his heinous crimes. Such a joke.

This is by far the SADDEST case Iv ever heard. Where so many people ganged up against one family. Anyone of those people could have taken any sort of action. Feels like hell on earth. My God help us all.

I think the answer to the question of "why" and "what is he getting out of this" is to make an example of what happens to a victim that tries to fight back. Abusers like this rarely assault just one person, he definitely did this shit before and after - this harassment probably made sure he could keep doing this and no one would dare fight back.

This left me in tears. I had heard about this case some time back and heard it again on your podcast. It is because of cops like Rathod, our judicial system is a joke. It is because of b*st*rds like him that cops asked a 17 year old Porche driver to write an essay as an apology to the bikers who died. Imagine the plight of Mr. Gehrotra who first lost his wife, then his daughter, then his job, and almost lost his son too. He suffered so much for no fault of his. While Rathore was building his new mansion, Gehrotra was struggling to make a living with his injured son. WTF. Good cops only exist in films. The judiciary is a joke in India.
