So while it’s easy to trash-talk each other’s cultures here on TH-cam, before you do I think you should know that many more Americans than you can imagine are into “good” techno and not the shit that Ellen’s audio guy played on the show. I love hip-hop and other genres, too, but don’t want to hear any one genre all the time, and being a professional musician I’m generally very picky about what I listen to, and I know that many other Americans feel the same way. Unfortunately, the crap that gets played on American radio is not reflective of a huge sector of the population.
Many Americans only know inside the borders of America as if a whole world of different human experiences don't exist at all. Some Americans travel and open their minds and they are some of the best people I've ever met.
I went to Berlin last year cus my friend lived there (and im from Sweden so its very close) and he took me to an underground club and the music was pure base. Absolutely loved it.

Berlin is THE place to party. You just have to know where to go. And yes, be prepared, the crowd can be wild, crazy, bizarre or just gay and shameless. And please, if you´re not willing to join in and just want to look at "different people"...just stay outside and watch the crowd waiting in line to get in.
