I love these snow videos showing the equipment off and the new stuff.
A buddy of mini has the older snowrator. He says it's mint. He calls it his ATM. He can haul like 3 or 4 on his trailer and salt in the truck. He does 200 driveways with it. It's mint for it.

Much improved over the original for sure! Glad to hear that they added some sort of heat for hands! However, that style of throttle is very prone to failure. My 2018 ditch witch sk1550 has a push button throttle and they are notorious, for getting stuck, wearing out. Buttons like that are not designed to be pushed hundreds of times in one night, plus since its electrical its prone to corrosion issues. Nice touch but they should have some sort of manual throttle as back up because that button is sure to leave you hanging at one point!

Great video Stan. I’m currently looking into the multi force for some versatility for a municipal workforce, this is definitely worth a look also. I ended up purchasing a Bobcat L28 articulating loader based on information and ideas I got from your video’s, the options I purchased with that will be shared with the toolcat we have had for several years. Thanks again I wouldn’t have looked into some of these machines if it wasn’t for your videos. Look like great machines but there’s one major problem they all share as they talk about features in 8 below zero temperatures as they can hardly move - it is too cold to operate these machines in the Winter timeframe. We have and use on each Winter storm John Deere Multi-Terrain front end attachments and these are loaded with nice seats, heaters, air conditioning, radios, great lighting, have flashers on top, comfortable ergonomics, huge fuel storage, are super reliable, easy to use, have great trade in value and built extremely well. We can go all day and all night in our John Deere sidewalk machines (that’s what I call these handy tools) when using them because of operator comfort. We own Boss truck plows but we will not change over to these Boss sidewalk machines when we are extremely satisfied with what John Deere has brought to the table. One advantage of these is a smaller footprint and perhaps a couple more attachments but I am too old (my younger operators don’t want the cold either) to be outside in below zero windchills for any length of time for operation of machines like these. Sorry but no sale if relying on us Boss or any company not able to provide some degree of warmth (hand warmers doesn’t cut it) to the operator.

The cost of vehicles, gas, equipment, loaders, tractors etc. I’m so glad I don’t live in a freezing climate like that, don’t understand why anyone would want to. 8 degrees? Snow? We’d shut the whole state down, we are so unequipped to deal with any of that and yet y’all are “just another day at the office”. Hats off to you boys up there! I couldn’t do it.

This is an excellent redesign they only missed two things, as a sidewalk contractor you need an elf shoe on the front of that v-plow otherwise it's going to catch every single expansion crack in the sidewalk, the only other thing they missed was the right controls should be on a joystick, the old single lever won't cut it in 2022 if you fix these two things this thing will be a 10/10

I’ve been asking for this demo for the past two winters now! We ran the original snow rators before Boss bought out the design and they ran a Honda engine. We loved these machines and they are 4x4 and have snow dedicated tires instead of the Toro’s 2wd system. You get so much traction that on dry pavement it actually caused the machine to bounce up and down and wheel skip off the ground kinda like a skid steer might, but on wet snowy ground you can do 360’s non stop it just slides but bites immediately when you continue going straight, made it so much fun to fly down a sidewalk spin around in 2 seconds flat while simultaneously turning the blade the opposite direction and make your next pass. We also used these machines in all our commercial lots instead of skid steers, you’re able to get right up against curbs and push it all out in like 3 passes and all around garage doors on complexes and push it out so trucks don’t have to go anywhere near those things and have like 6-10 feet of room between them and the curb or building! I was able to get within an inch of the side of a brick building without hitting it and it leaves accounts looking so crisp! Obviously I’d prefer being in a skid loader, but for what these are they get some fricken work done, and no need to mess around with a salt bag and scoop down sidewalks, just throw the spreader on and boom done. Machines like this remind me how much I love machines in general and how easy they can make our lives. Only time we had to grab a shovel was for apartment stairs. 😁

What a couple of sidewalk snow- beasts !! Could easily imagine a minimally skilled operator could get those units into areas previously hand-shoveled or walk-behind blowers. Time savings on a site, seasonal- help retention alone , I would think, would pay for those units. Look well built, good shop maintenance programs easily last the unit’s financial life cycle. In my humble opinion. GREAT VIDEO, Thanks !

Nice! I love the exact drop method...really loath broadcast spreading, even weighting out the time savings on it. This applies to fert as well, just prefer drop over broadcast.

Looks like a cool piece. They could capitalize on the hydraulics for year round use in other applications. With constant flow hydraulics you could post hole dig. Make a little dump cart for landscaping. Maybe a trailer mover? Like you most people that do snow work have something they do the rest of the year. Somthimg they can use year round is more feasible of a purchase.

Hey hey stan, how was the weekend, my weekend was pretty good, after i get your video started, imma have me some banana pudding, and a few fruit chews, not a. Bad snack,i am also hearing in the weather of a massive snowstorm heading towards the east coast, right now NJ is all rain and wind. But again, the weather man is paid regardless if he or she is right or wrong.i have a feeling the storm could shift, because no amount of competing can be accurate unless it already happened and had been documented.this entire week at school is half days, and today we just couldn’t catch our luck on the bus, a radiator line to the water pump had bursted and the engine started to smoke, and so we pulled over, then the bus that was supposed to come and get us broke down, so finally they sent us a third bus an we got everything straightened out. Was about an hour extra than it would normally would have taken.. and for dinner we had bbq chicken pizza and a works pizza, it was all good, felt good on a cold rainy day. Anyways stan, you have a great night, god bless and go get em, your pal and friend Alexander costa

If I was still plowing my own property, I'd want the whole kit'n caboodle. The broom was a beast, but the blower was an ultra-beast!
The plow blades are perfect, too. But those spreaders we're truly awesome.
Look to college physical plants, the smaller places that do the work themselves, and not farmed out. My old college, Blackburn, in southern Illinois, would probably love the thing. When I was still there in the 80s, the physical plant was crewed by students with professional supervision. I think it still is, just with a different system. All the departments were crewed by students, including new construction. They would have absolutely violated their undies to get that system.

I love when you're testing awesome equipment I want to see you test one of those plows that go on the front of the truck where it folds down to pull back sidewalks it's like a standard straight blade and snow plow but you fold it down and you can pull back sidewalks and areas that you don't want to build up snow piles
