Hi and welcome to the channel! Well they normally don't upgrade there in general. Cash price maybe but I wouldn't count on it ;( But when we stayed there wasn't more than 50% occupancy so when we were supposed to switch to our garden room from the overwater they didn't want the hassle and let use stay the remaining 2 days in the over water ;) Hope you have a great trip!

It cost around 1900 for a 4 night stay, That included the Breakfast and dinner Meal plan. Then it cost about another 500 in food and other things like spa treatments. Then there was the $229 round trip Boat transfer to and from the MLE airport. If you have IHG points you can save money and book the Hotel night with them, but then you would have to still pay for individual meals or buy a meal plan.
Hi and thanks for commenting. I'd say it will take you 7 minutes to walk. If you need to you can call for a golf cart to pick you up from your over water villa too at no charge.
@@sivak745 NP. Reach out to your hotel before and double check when you arrive at check in. They will help you coordinate the boat transfer times to help ensure you arrive at MLE airport In time to clear security and get to your flight with enough time. It's what we did and it worked out great.

Thanks for the video. We are considering this hotel and checking beach villas. In one of the comments someone said that there is another island very close with lots of construction noise. Did you spot something like this?)
Hi and thanks for commenting. We could see the nearby island and there was construction going on but it never really bothered us. Now keep in mind it was a few months ago since we were there so it could have increased but it wasn't a problem in July. We also stayed at the Conrad in the Maldives in case you wanted to take a look at my video of that island as well. Hi. Some of the villas up near the front only go up to your waist at most. So I'd ask for a front villa. There's free life jackets at the front dock entrance bear the villas too. Note, that there can be a small water current at times when swimming on and around the villas. Thanks for commenting and have a good vacation!

I came to know from other vlogs, that there is not much water below water villas. Is this true?
This is true for these villas. It's very shallow. But to note that at times there was a strong current from the waves breaking on the preimter.

Wow..how deep the water is near the water villa? My wife is not a good swimmer and she prefers when she can touch her feet on the ground.
