The modes are actually kinda dissapointing for a 600$ rangefinder.
My cheap one from Amazon can measure the height of an objekt by taking 2 measurements (one at the top and one at the bottom).
It can also measure the speed of a vehicle, save the last 10 distances and do all the things the razor can do , exept ELR mode.
And all that for 1/10th the price.

Sounds like you found a unicorn! Which one did you buy?

      @@JonCresswellUk Revasri mk 1000.
Maybe not a unicorn since its range is 1km but I cant complain.
850m flying helicopter, 130meter flying bird, 1120m tractor , flying plane at 550m, all possible.
Also tells the elevation difference from you to your target.
Still consider buying the hd4000 for longer ranges though.

@yaykruser ah nice! I’m the razor does give you that extra range. I obviously can’t shoot that far, but it means that it returns accurate ranges quickly.

      SIG KILO2400ABS vs Vortex HD4000
I used the stats on www.sigsauer.com/kilo2400abs.html and vortexoptics.com/razor-hd-4000-rangefinder.html to make the comparison for you.
(First data refers to the SIG and second refers to the Vortex).
      Cost: $1689.99 vs $729.99
      Magnification: x7 vs x7
      Weight: 7.5oz vs 9.9oz
Field of view: 6.78’ vs 6.5’
Range on Deer: up to 1400yds vs 2200yds
Range on trees: up to 1800yds vs 2500yds
Max reflective: up to 3400yds vs 4000yds
I’ve not used the SIG so can’t comment on usability etc. The SIG does look like a great range finder too. It comes with some excellent features such as built in applied ballistics, environmental sensors and Bluetooth, but at $960 more you would probably expect that.
I use the Vortex HD4000 with a Kestrel 5700 and am getting great results.
It really depends on what features you want in your range finder.
      Hope that helps Bob?
