I might buy these when they hit the 80% off discount bin.
Yup
Bought two hobby packs today. In the first had an autograph Paul Molitor - 38/50.
That sucks retail isn't good for 2023 Topps. I bought 2 blaster and hangers. I pulled 3 genesis hits out of a mosaic cello pack👍
i just ordered a couple of boxes. even tho i might not pull anything of great value (since the odds aren’t in my favour) i just like collecting cards and i’m excited as a baseball fan for when they come in :)
I do wish that the blasters had the same odds as a hobby or jumbo Box. The reason being, they push hobby
over retail and make it like they are the Harvard's of cards!
Why would a company give you the same odds in a $25 product as a $100 or $150 product? That would defeat the purpose of making the hobby formats. That would be like Chevrolet selling a new Corvette for the same price as a malibu.
That’s a bit crazy well over $200 for a jumbo box my card store is selling them for $150
What card store?
Blaster's are rough this year, I have gotten some big hits from Jumbo and Hobby this year. Great video!
Thanks!
I am glad the stars of mlb look better to me. Last year's were nice, but this year's are a little better
Ripped a few blasters last night, zero hits! Looking forward to opening some Jumbos
I think the only series 1 retail I'll buy are the meijer blisters.
I'm thinking of buying these Box.
Is there anything I should look for
Are the cards worth anything
I pulled a printing plate out of one of these
Bought one hanger today and pulled a judge major league material
Congrats, nice pull!
Another 13 min rant from Mike on Stars of the MLB lmao
Lol not the whole video try like 4 minutes out 13 😂
Pulled a Home Field Advantage out of a blaster this evening, not all that bad!
Congrats! Nice retail pull!
@@UpNorthCollectors Thanks! It was a Bryce Harper, not too bad. I usually buy retail, not expecting much. Just here for the love of the hobby !
I didn't get much in my blaster I opened recently. Live streaming 2 hangers tomorrow. Hopefully we get something better! I need to get a hobby box and try my luck with that! AND....I'm with you! I hate that they brought back Stars of the MLB!
These blasters might be a fun cheap rip at 9.99. At $25 it's a 95%+ loss rate and easy pass. Fanatics i guess is hoping the market for these being the uneducated parents, friends and family of children impulse buying these as gifts for their kids at target and the like.
Boycotting retail of this product
I understand
I buy retail. And that is all. But it looks like hobby is cheaper this year? Is it not?
Hobby boxes are around $90 so that’s about 3.5 blasters. Not sure how much cheaper it is than last year maybe $15-$25?
No way I'm buying any retail, not with those odds
I completely passed on all 2023 Topps retail at store. ITS GARBAGE! Panini is looking better now haha
Is Walmart releasing these this week?
Yes on their website you could get series 1. But in stores next I’m guessing?
Retail stinks this year, very disappointing for a design I was excited for.
Yeah it’s too bad they made it so much worse than prior years. They could have made changes less dramatic.
Anyone buying these blasters at this price point simply doesn’t value money…
Oh yada yada yaha, he's all complaining about Stars of the MLB.
Sorry 😞 no more complaining
Blaster are the absolute worst format odds wise. However, with such a large portion of the print run allocated to retail, there are more hits in all of the retail products vs the hobby side.
Also the /88 numbered cards do not have vintage stock. That's why they're sneaky.
Thanks for the info, I thought I heard someone say the 88 cards were like vintage lol but obviously that’s wrong or I just misunderstood. Thanks!!!
