So a cloak only removes you physically, you can still be detected by radar. That is what happened to rAndy. there was a radar further back which gave the t3 a radar dot they could shoot at. u are correct though, maybe saying that in the recording would have been better :)
The moment I see a 1v1 post from Requiem, I know it's going to be epic! It's late Tuesday night here, and I have wine in hand for this one. Cheers Requiem, rAndy and Ubivator 🍷
Woo! That sneaky start by ubivator... I think there was some discussion about editing the map as that's only possible since recently they changed the building/blueprint rules.
@@Requiem_tv the change so you only need to touch the edge of the build blueprint, instead of the middle. It helped a lot of bad con pathfinding, but some maps like this were effected by now having reachable mexes which were unintended.
From watching about 10 of your 1v1 vids, it almost feels like to me that none of the players fully understand the benefits of height advantage; it is super ever rarely used/controlled/defended. I feel like a small investment in turrets on the high ground early would easily help with holding far more ground; rather than at the bottom of the hill like Ubi did. Also imagine an early radar up there!
th-cam.com/video/nuETD1ZOOkY/w-d-xo.html This map, was very much played around the high ground. and the person holding it had a huge advantage. most of the fighting took place around the hill. But in general yea, height is quite ignored. but where your playing 1v1 you are thinking about so many things somethings gotta give i guess
I found this match very interesting because it shows how wildly asimetric the factions are. T1 about equal, T2 largely in favor of Cortex while back again T3 in favor of Armada. It is also interesting how much pro vs pro matches start with lots of eco while evey pro vs noob match, the pro is much more aggressive. Also pin a comment about how the com was detected. So you don't have to keep replying.
At the end of the day its all about the com, And com snips can happen. We have seen it in a few games on the channel where the loser grabs victory for the claws of defeat. Well played on him not giving up in my Op
Explain to the audience how Randy's coma was detected???

@@Requiem_tv does that apply to all cloaky units that radar can see them?
@@roostyla only 3 units have both radar stealth and visual cloak: 2 spy bots and arm t2 cloaked tank.

Love the casts each week, only criticism is you only post once :) When this gets released on Steam i'm sure it will blow up, and so will your channel!
Cheers :) I want to start posting twice a week but having a busy summer so not finding time. Come September it should be clear for two a week 😀

Oh really, how so?
this game was pre blueprint btw

Could you show the stats at the end please (nice cast btw)?
Hey, thanks for the nice comment. Sure i will try and remember to include them in the end of the video (u will be able to pause at the end to see it).

Wonder if that's same rAndy from UK that used to play StarCraft
Not sure, hes been around in bar for a long time now, ill have to ask him next time i get to chat with him
Yes I am, hi Xun ☺️

why would Randy continue playing even tho it was kinda obvious that he was in the backfoot since a bit after the t2 transition?
