That really is a proper sword. I looked up the forging project and master blade smiths who made it. It’s not a knockoff or prop.
Unfortunately, it’s the only one of its quality. The commission for it was privately contracted. You can’t get a duplicate.
THAT’S one hell of a gift!

I don’t doubt that MAA could recreate such a sword. I just think it’s awesome that this one was made real and given as a gift.
Most movie swords used in films are just props. Real ones are rarely used in scenes and they usually end up in studio collections or kept by their creators.

Not Scottish girl. When ye spend so long around Americans you start to sound different cause you speak in a way that you know they'l understand ye. When ye get home you soon come back to your own. I'm guessing thats why he sounds different now.

@@lesviesblanchescomptent Yeah it has gotten stronger again, BUT not geordie like it used to. Kinda like a 40% welsh, 40% London, and 20% American accent or something lol.

So, Charlie spent 8 years working an American accent so his normal accent slowly died and now it’s slowly coming back. He’s actually from north eastern England which makes him a Geordie. His heritage is Nordic. And that’s basically what a Geordie is. Their accents are Nordic/English/Scottish sounding.

I highly doubt that's the real double edged damascus sword used in the actual film. The real one was completely amazing! Guy loves to twist the nipps!

Kelly Kelso judging by how long he said it took the blacksmiths to make it and all the guest’s attention to the blade, I’m fairly certain it has a Damascus blade and overall of equal or greater quality to the prop
