Donny baseball got on one knee and signed my baseball when I was 10 or 11 and asked me if I was getting good grades in school. He was my favorite player growing up and I will always be thankful for the time he took to talk to me. Still have the ball and will take that memory with me wherever I go! Same. The rules say you need to play a minimum of ten years, but voters punish players who don't have stats it takes 15-20 years to get. Mattingly was a serious contender for best player in the league for a 5 year stretch. And outside of Keith Hernandez (also deserves to be in the HOF) was the greatest defensive player I ever saw at first.
Much less concerned about the World Series than the drama of the New York Jets. If they lose to the Pats, which I doubt they will but if they do.. oh lord.
Dodgers have the worst starting pitching out of any world series team i could remember. An injured flaherty an injured yamamoto and an ineffective buehler who had a 5.63 era this season. Lol

I don't think it bugged him at all. Him and Billy were contemporaries. I'm guessing they were friendly back in their playing days. All I saw from Donnie was a smile and laughter.
