I’ve had a set of these for about a month, I discovered them on eBay by accident. I ordered a complete set and have been running them on my stampede 4x4 VXL. They are freaking awesome, they grip well on all surfaces. They don’t balloon much compared to badlands mx28s which balloon badly. Plus they look just killer on my stampede 4x4 VXL. I recommend getting these tires!

A rustler is basically a slash, plus if you put on the right mounts you can put them on any rc car

They may be cheaper but from what I've heard from others, they're actually heavier than proline badlands, even compared to the badlands MX28's.

Traxxas cvd drive shafts are good for this, the only downside is that my wallet is empty now but it was worth it. If you want to know the part number 6851R for front and 6852R for rear

Actually proline was going to come out with these calling them the proline sledgehammers but i guess they sold it over to traxxas but thats seems to be the case

does not look like that little guy can handle those bigger tires as well. idk but the plastic driveshafts suck too, and with heavier and bigger tires it will break em faster than they already break. Great job.

I run proline badlands (about the same size as the sledgehammers) and all my driveshafts are still intact. That said, I'm a 2S user.
I have the Proline Trencher 1.8's under mine, working real good. Especially the self rightning function, not it's like it should have been form the beginning.
Man, all I read at first was "New Sledgehammer" and I got all excited, but then it was just tires, dammit Traxxas!

I got some prolines on my if you dont upgrade axles you will break the stock ones I have mip on the rear and stock on the front and have broken them everytime I drive it so definitely need to upgrade them
The stock e revo 2.0 tires rip after a couple of runs with 6s
All stock tires need to be belted and balanced for high power. It should be the job of manufacturers who claim to make cars ready to run, not ready to break.
Can the car come with these tires instead of the talon ext 2.8s

I have badlands for my rustler 4x4 vxl and because they come in, the car flips over and it shredded my fenders. Wish I could have got these

You Need the better driveshafts for this. The stock ones will break.
Very sad that in 2020 The Fastest Name In Radio Control doesn't have the technology to avoid ballooning. This severely damages wheels and causes loss of control. With such fast machines this is a serious safety issue.

TRAXXAS! Any chance of releasing the original Sledgehammer again? I always wanted one when I was younger, but i didn't want a basher. That would be an Ultra awesome retro bring back. Nobody understood how cool they were because everybody was interested in building their own back then

Warning you will need the metal drive shafts to run these wheels the plastic ones will snap alot if running these heavier wheels.

Looking at what these tires do to the terrain, I could almost feel sorry for the ground . . . almost. Yeah. Another Traxxas win.

It can't even hold a straight line with those..It diffs out and spins then rolls over..Cut the scene right before it happens all you want lol
To reduce the diffing out, I cleaned out all the stock grease in the rear diff and put in some 5K diff oil. Made quite a difference
@@markoftheus for sure.. when running tires this big on that chassis you'll have to tune the diffs
