I'm pretty sure that when I eventually get to visit China, I won't get the chance to explore off the beaten track like this, away from the main tourist sites, but it looks absolutely incredible- thanks so much for showing us. I'll give the ear cleaning a swerve though!

Yeah we were definitely lucky to have Hannah and her family helping us. Some of these places are not very well known, also quite difficult to get to without a car. But there are so many amazing places to visit in China, it really is a huge country. If you do travel to China I'm sure you'll have a great time! Give the ear cleaning a try, it's more comfortable than it looks haha.
Your video is awesome!My hometown is Xichang, but I haven't been to many places in the video. 😂I think I will take my foreign friends to the places in your video when I return to China.😊

As a Sichuanese who haven't been back for 15 years. I was pleasantly surprised by your video. Especially the Hailuogou part. In fact, there are so many beautiful places in Sichuan. I will definitely go there in the near future. Thank you for showing some of the beautiful scenery of Sichuan🙏

typically, fancy malls in China have an ice rink in the middle of the mall, unlike in the US where i live, you have to go to honkey clubs for indoor ice skating in the summer.

I love seeing ancient town architecture. Historically they are the most sustainable, built with minimal materials, principally timber, stone and tiles. The aesthetics are awesome- derived from the curved tiled roof.
None of the English subtitles on your video can be translated into Chinese. It may be that the wrong method or software was used when editing the video, because other people's videos are fine. Most Chinese people can't read English. It's a pity. 😅

Yeah the subtitles from Swedish -> English. Those are "burned in" as I simply added those while editing. I'll look into adding subtitle tracks to the actual TH-cam video in the future.

0:35 I opened this video just to see if he/they would pronounce sichuan (四川）properly. He didn't. I can guess how the rest of this video will go :P (he pronounced it sich-uan, as English speakers do, instead of how it's pronounced in Chinese, si-chuan). The 'honeymoon phase' of any relationship is always the happiest :D 2:13 Water 'come off the mountain' and it's 'quite nice and warm', really? I suppose that's possible, but in this video, I see no steam. Is this guy high, or just ignorant? Hao zay huh, 好热， must be a regional way of saying that. 6:39 What is ancient about this town? 7:42 Nothing shown was 'ancient.' lol
